Splatoon 2 is definitely my next Switch purchase

 

Odyssey is amazing but I hit a wall on some harder moons/playing new games. I need to get back to it.

 

Honestly, for the price of Odyssey, you could get like 3 really great games on the eShop like Hollow Knight, Tangledeep, Wargroove, Celeste, Into The Breach, Okami HD, Golf Story, Overcooked 2, Yoku's Island Express or The Messenger.

I always call Tangledeep Tumbledeep for some reason.

 

There's a ton of eShop games I want to dig into. It's honestly kind of intimidating trying to figure out what I want when I click on the shop. So. Many. Choices.

tetris 99, it’s free 99

 

I got 7th place in Tetris 99 last night and I can’t see myself ever topping that.

 

I’ve yet to play Tetris 99 - but I assume I’m going to suck.

 

Based off some of the levels I've seen people on, there's people Tetris constantly.

 

Tetris 99 is pretty much all I've played since it came out. At level 20 something. I've gotten 2nd a handful of times so far. Might be a bit addicted to it.

About to get back into Rocket League with cross-platform parties now live though.

 

Right? It gets so chaotic by then, I think using the L button to bank a piece is super helpful when it gets down only a handful of players left. Switching pieces in and out buy you a little more freakin time.

 

I’ve gotten 5th and I think that might be the best I do unless I get really lucky.

 

it’s so fun. it sucks when you wind up on the receiving end of like 8 players’ crosshairs right off the bat though lol. i think my best is sixth place but it does not stop being fun, massive “one more round” effect

 

also keep a 1x4 banked at all times

 

i consistently get top 5 (look ma i’m finally good at something). i didn’t play online tetris before, so it’s amusing to see how i fare vs other people. i don’t think i’ll ever get higher than that though, people who are in the top 1/2 spot are the ones who definitely know what they’re doing.
