I tried to help my 10 year old nephew with BotW, but he ignored all of my advice! I told him it's a good idea to pick all of the plants he finds, and to cook them instead of just eating them plain. What does he do? Largely ignores every plant, and then eats everything separately! *sigh* Maybe in a few years...

I'm hoping for Fire Emblem right around the start of summer (May), to take us into the lean months.

Animal Crossing will probably be September.

Man, I would literally die of happiness if they brought Golden Sun back. I and II are two of my favorite games ever.

 

September for AC would be fine, just not later than that. It'd be a big buzzkill to release the game headed into the most boring months to play the game. Unless they make winter more exciting in the game which is definitely possible.

I'm just worried that, because the third game wasn't a success, the series might be indefinitely shelved. Which really sucks.

 

I like this timeframe a lot

 

i don’t think the DS entry flopping will be too much of an issue with the following and love for the first two games. it was so undermarketed and honestly i’d bet plenty of people forget it even exists a lot of the time.

my biggest concern is Camelot. i would imagine they own the IP, and they haven’t touched anything but Mario sports games in 9 years, and all those are somewhat lamented for lacking the RPG elements that Camelot’s earlier Mario Tennis/Golf games had. i don’t have a lot of faith that any of the minds behind Golden Sun and those RPG elements of the Mario games are even there anymore. kind of a Rare situation.

 

Hey, Rare went on to make such classic games as Kinect Sports Rivals. They did just fine for themselves.

 

I just want that Duck Game release date

 

Golden Sun on Switch would be the deciding factor that yes, I will definitely buy a Switch.
