You do get some occasional performance issues though, not sure if that’s as big a problem on the other platforms.

 

Planning on picking up a Switch this weekend along with Zelda.

What are some absolute must-have accessories/games/etc. that you all recommend? (plan on getting Smash Bros and Odyssey as well)

I’ll always rep Celeste for its amazing soundtrack and awesomely quick gameplay. Really great game for commutes or being out and about.

Zelda, Mario kart, smash, Hollow Knight, pro controller. Octopath Traveller was probably my favourite game but I understand it’s not for everyone.

 

Pro controller is the cheapest it’s ever been on amazon right now ($55)

 

Somehow I am just now realizing you can redeem points from games you have physically purchased. I just redeemed points for Super Smash, then went back and my other 6 games had all expired. Damn.

 

I missed out on my Zelda points sadly. I’m up to 6.00 worth of coin haha

Not sure if it's the same system in the UK. But I have redeemed a couple of games which equate to 'gold coins' which allow me to... have 30% off a Wii U game I will prob never buy.

 

I was reading online that picking up an SD card is a must. Also read that the Switch has capability to support a 2 TB SD card.

Anyone recommend one thats both budget friendly and kick ass?

 

Amazon always has deals. I got my 200gb for 70 last year. They were on sale for half that during nov. more than enough space for sure.

It's great to have all my games downloaded now. As Nintendo games are rarely discounted I'm going digital only on the switch (except Zelda and Mario Kart as I got them in a bundle deal)

 

Sandisk's are always cheap on offer and they work great too

Hey guys, just ordered a Switch bundle from NewEgg and it says the games are import region free. Did some Googling and not really getting any straight answers.

What does that mean??

 

Guessing they're from a different region(Europe probs) but you can still play them on your Switch because the Switch is region free(it can play games from anywhere)
