I’m also having very annoying connectivity issues but I played until 6am with some buddies last night and it was a great time

Yep. Picked up on sale and really enjoyed it. It's only like 3 hours to 100% but I loved every minute of it. Hadn't played anything quite like it before and it was a very satisfying game to crack.

Guacamelee is really fun, got about 5 hours into it, it was around the fifth hour I realized I really love it. Can't wait to play more.

 

Wife and I played Guacamelee on Wii U a couple years ago, really had a blast with it. Excited to grab 2 when it releases on the Switch.

Also really enjoyed Severed, the game DrinkBox released between Guac and Guac 2, on Switch. Very unique little first-person/Metroidvania adventure.

 

I loved Guacamelee and then I hated because I got permanently stuck on this mini boss because I have problems pulling of one of the moves you have to do

i had to sell my launch Switch forever ago, like before Odyssey came out because life got nuts and i needed to fund an impulse move. gf and i are moving into a new place on Sat and i think ive convinced her that Sunday is the day to bite the bullet. excited to actively shame @oldjersey in every game imaginable

 

i beat the first LoZ for the first time ever on 3DS VC a few years ago and it’s amazing how that game has aged. i feel like given the move to open world games in the last 10 years it plays better to modern gamer sensibilities than most any other NES game

I don't like Polygon, but this was legitimately the first thing I found when I searched.

 

Lol wow, I’ve been hearing people from Nintendo sites say it isn’t great. Wait and see I guess.

 

I know Destuctoid gave it a 6. I think a lot of people are complaining that it's $50 when you can get the mobile version for like under $20.

 

I thought they pulled the mobile version?

 

I think it's still up. I bought it a while ago and still have the option to download it again if I wanted to.
