it looks like so much fun. totally still going to get it at somepoint just to have for the few times I’ll have a chance to play with a large group.

 

The fact that they upped it to six player multiplayer is insane

 

SO found a quiz online about Nintendo trivia, and I was able to answer most of them effortlessly (I think that was like around 20 questions) except for 2 or 3ish.

And I am not sure whether that was a good or bad look for me. Probably the latter. Dorkiest thing I’ve done in a while for sure.

 

I love Golf Story so much. @oldjersey, have you played it? I think you’d love it, provided you’re fine with the Golf.

It was one of the first games I bought! I played for a few hours then bought 36 other games I need to go back to it.

 

Golf Story was so cool. Something I never expected to play. The only thing I didn't like, legitimately the only thing, was the last course. For some reason the difficulty seemed to spike for me, but then again I'm not particularly good at games so maybe it was just me?

 

Downloaded Undertale (a game I've never played but have heard extremely polarizing things about) and The Messenger on the Switch this AM. Stoked to dive into those this week.

 

The only thing you need to know is that Undertale is amazing and that anyone who says otherwise can't fathom how wonderful it is because they are too busy getting mad because it's not a traditional RPG.

The humor and mechanics of that game are something special.

 

Yeah it seems like people either reaaaaaally love it, or reaaaaaally hate it. I know virtually nothing about it, other than that it's full of tricks and that it looks like an Earthbound romhack.

 

My advice would be to just try different approaches in battle. Sometimes the best things come from just waiting around and seeing how long the game will keep a joke going. There's a scene I REALLY want to show you and everyone who isn't sold on the game because it's just hilarious, but I feel like it's such a wonderful thing to experience first hand.

 

The last course was more of a trial and error puzzle than the other ones which were more like regular golf games, that’s what made it seem like a spike

it was DEFINITELY a spike in difficulty, there was almost no room for error on that final course and some pretty unforgiving wind speeds if I remember correctly

 

I just did my first undertale run. It was wonderful.

For fuck's sake, Nintendo. I'm getting really sick and tired of you guys punishing me for playing in handheld mode.

The two Switch games I was really looking forward to this year are both screwed up because Nintendo continues to make idiotic decisions. Don't advertise your console as a hybrid that can play games anyway you choose and then not allow people to play in one of the primary modes.

Sorry for getting so heated. I just hate how stubborn Nintendo is and I'm sick of them getting away with stuff like this because they are know as the quirky company.
