I guess they are expecting enough Pokémon go people and kids to be getting Switches just to play this.

 

The Pokemon handheld game audience is hardcore, large and loyal. If they don’t turn up for this game, they will for the first ”real@ Pokemon game.

 

Hell I want that switch. And it’s kind of messed up but I’m thinking my son needs his own switch. He took over mine

 

Can they do DLC to add other regions to the new Pokemon game? That would be awesome if they did that - but I guess it's not as profitable for them.

 

They once said that the main reason that a multi-region game doesn’t work is because they can’t balance it. That’s probably only part of it, but it does make sense once you get into how Pokemon games actually work and how people play them. They are all plenty long and deep though so I never really got the complaint, nobody ever asked for every Zelda world to be in every Zelda game.

So my birthday is today and my girlfriend left out my presents to open later so I did some snooping and there is definitely a switch game, I told her how much i've wanted DQ 11 but obviously she didnt get that, I think she got builders haha, she's so sweet.

 

Heard that game is supposed to be great fwiw

Haha SO. The girlfriend prefaced me opening the gift saying she thinks she got me the wrong thing, I had mentioned DQ to her so she went looking for it for switch and couldn't find anything and she ended up buying me Monster Hunter which I think is awesome!!!

Nintendo’s first party stuff still seems under wraps, it’ll be interesting if they talk about Mega Man and FFXV mobile edition though

Because pretty strong sources say that it has more or less been ready since the WiiU was still a thing, they just shelved it for when they feel is best. Same was allegedly the case with Oddysey.

 

Woah, really? I hadn't heard that. I don't get the business end of all this very much, but I would have thought keeping the momentum up with a huge title like that would have been a no brainer.

 

True, but Pokemon is coming so that actually is huge, plus who knows what else (might also be Animal Crossing of course).
