I had a ton of Geo left over so I bought the lantern. Idk if that was a smart move.

 

I finished the entire spider level without it, and it was a bit frustrating. That is definitely a smart move.

 

I actually gave up on Hollow Knight. Was difficult to a point of it not being remotely enjoyable. Also found the environment to be miserable.

im actually grinding for the lantern, i finished crystal peak and im not sure where to go next so i figured id use that to explore the couple of dark areas ive found so far.
