Mario Maker is 100%?happening on Switch at some point, there’s no way they won’t bring it back. You’ll just have to undock it to build levels.

 

As far as I know the mechanics and so on are good, it just has a bad art style imo

 

so like am I the only one that plays the switch 90% of the time undocked?

 

Same here. I played Xenoblade docked for a while because it runs better but then I was like fuck it and played it in handheld again.

 

I started that way. It took me like a good 8 months before I finally played docked. Now it’s the other way around. I hardly play undocked

 

Probably an 80-20 split for me, mostly handheld. BotW docked is an entirely different beast.

I was just talking about this game a few days ago, and this gets announced. I really enjoyed 1-3 back in the day.

 

The only time I played docked is for local multiplayer

I mostly play docked. My wife has a switch too, so we have a dock in our living room and bedroom. One of those tvs is always free and I just prefer playing on the big screen with my pro controller.

 

I play 100% undocked. I docked it once on release day, when I played BotW, but then went right back to undocked.

I honestly find the controls lag a bit when it’s docked so I couldn’t ever play Odyssey or Hollow Knight while docked. I’d just die over and over and over because the controls wouldn’t work.

 

Hm, so a Monster Hunter game came out for Switch today and the consensus on Reddit seems to be if you have never played a MH game, definitely don't make this one your first.

 

I just need to find time to play the switch. I'd like to not buy anymore games until I beat some of the ones I have.
