Every Zelda amiibo across the different amiibo series can be scanned and they give chests containing weapons, food, and armor. There are something like 17ish amiibo. Certain ones will give you specific armor/weapons and that’s the only way to get them.

People have made the amiibo into little NFC cards and sell them on eBay and such. So you can get the whole set and it’s much easier to scan them then having to physical get all those amiibo together and scan those. They can only be scanned once per day but you can just scan them and change the date on your switch and scan again. You can do that however many times you want but be careful because it changes the date on the save file and that can get confusing if you aren’t paying attention

 

I deleted Fortnite so I can install this. I've played Overwatch before so this might be up my alley.

Worst case I'll just play Splatoon again.

 

This is what stands out most to me: Explore a world full of challenges solo or with a friend

This will probably be only local, driving those vehicles in a shared world should be fun.

 

this is infinitely more my thing than Fortnite




the worldwide fortnite obsession kind of blows my mind

 

I think it hits a lot of checkboxes that are popular with gamers right now - games are short, it's chaotic, it has base building, it has shooting, it's free, tons of cosmetics, and it's on every platform.

Not my cup of tea either (or I guess king's cup is a more accurate drink to compare Fornite with), but I'm not surprised why it's so popular.

 

I wonder if my phone will give off enough of a signal as a hotspot to play Paladins.

 

yeah, when you break it down like that, i can see it. but same as what you said, its just not for me at all.

literally my biggest problem with fortnite is i think its boring as hell

this crossed my mind today too when i thought about road trips haha

 

I've played a few games of paladins, it's definitely fun, I'd be down to play with some of y'all on here if you like.

 

Paladins is ok but the battle royals mode is where it's ar with that game

 

Picross S2 Arrives On Switch Next Week Bringing A Brand New Mode To The Series

I totally forgot about Picross. I'm almost done completing everything from the first one but I want to pick this up.

 

RE: Fortnite on Switch, I think the game is really popular because it can be what you want it to be.

I think of it as a free shooter I could play for a few minutes in bed, at the hotel, in between two activities on holidays, etc. It's fun and I'm not treating it as a competitive game.

I don't understand the appeal of A) grinding and grinding and B) investing in skins, but if that's what you're looking for, there's a huge margin of progression and there will always be new skins/areas to explore season after season.

I might drop it altogether once Dark Souls comes out as Dark Souls PVP is pretty great for players looking to have 5 to 15 minutes of online fun, but Fortnite will do for now.

 

That’s why I love Splatoon. 3 minutes per match. And a coop game mode that’s fun and nets you tons of gold.

Just wanted to share that while I love Mario Tennis Aces, the story mode is garbage & the "mini-games" within the story are extremely tedious and frustrating.

Worth a buy if you like Mario sports games though.

 

Also Paladins is pretty fun. Glad I waited until it was free though.

 

I just downloaded it. I'm excited to see how it feels on the Switch.
