Spyro is also not on 3DS lol and WW on WiiU looks fucking incredible

Currently researching but maybe someone can help here. Does anyone know if this is possible? I have a 2ds with that had new super mario bros 2 preinstalled. If I were to transfer my data to the new hylian shield 2ds, would the game transfer over? Would that affect having a link between worlds preinstalled on the new 2ds?

 

I think, I'm not positive, but I think if you do a whole system transfer it should be fine, but otherwise I'd just see if you're able to delete and redownload the game on the new system because it should be technically tied to your account, right?

Hmmm. I don't know. I feel like when you transfer the data it deletes all the old stuff. I would try to see if it's linked to your account and then just redownload it after transfer.

 

Oot and MM look amazing for 3DS games, they did a great job

 

On that topic, I can’t believe how good the cutscenes look in Detective Pikachu

 

While I don't think the gameplay (or story for that matter) is anything to write home about in Detective Pikachu, the graphics and world design is wonderful. I think it's the most organic feeling depiction of how Pokemon and humans interact that we've seen in video games. It's really cool.

What I’m saying is that if you look at the context of those Spyro games and the 3DS Zelda remakes (i.e. the platforms they are on), then they are totally comparable. WW doesn’t even need any context to qualify.

You literally labelled them the wrong thing, I'd say that is lamenting. Whatever though, this isn't going anywhere, let's drop it.

 

WarioWare Gold is digital only. Hmm I didn't know that. But I guess it makes sense. I'm really hoping since that's like a giant collection of all the handheld games that they're thinking about doing a giant collection of the console ones for Switch. Maybe even just a full new entry. Definitely a franchise I want to see more of.

Whenever the OoT thing on switch comes up and people are like “but it looks so great on the 3DS” I’m just like man idgaf I don’t have a 3DS, I want it on the switch

You should get a 3DS tho. Maybe even a 2DS. Real cheap with a fantastic library.

 

Got myself this baby a while back. Wonderful 2DS XL.

 

An update on the 2ds transfer thing. So I just did a wireless transfer from the OG 2ds to the hylian shield 2ds. It brought over the preinstalled Mario game along with all purchases and data. It did delete the copy of A Link Between Worlds but I was able to redownload it from the eshop. Just in case anyone was curious

Also, the new 2ds feels so comfortable. Way more comfortable than my new 3ds xl. I bought the new 2ds for my son but i kind of want to trade him my 3ds xl instead

 

Haha I know right! The only problem I have with the 2DS XL is the speaker placement.

 

how does it even feel like to win a Splatfest?! I don't think I've won anything in quite a while, haha.

i was originally gonna go for Team Squid, but my SO already picked Team Octopus and I didn't want to be on the opposite team.

 

Octopath is sooooooo damn good. its hitting all the right jrpg spots that XC2 couldnt
