star fox adventures was the first time in my life i played a game and felt dissapointed and thought it was bad. before that i came across new games somewhat rarely so when i got a hold of one i convinced myself to love it despite any flaws, but with star fox adventures i was actually like "nah i don't like this" and that was the first time that had ever happened to me.

 

Star Fox has one good game

 

That's a high number according to my calculations

 

Starfox 1 and 64 are products of their time but they were good for what they were.

Starfox Adventures is an underrated gem.

It Starfox Adventures would have been the exactly the same game but with Team Ico on the back of the box people would call it a timeless classic lmao

 

Beat Shovel Knight tonight. That game was frustrating but super fun. Now to do all the extra stuff.

Specter of Torment is a blast.

 

I don’t know if I’ll ever get through Shovel Knight. The plunging mechanic is just not clicking for me.

 

I enjoyed Shovel Knight and Spectre Knight, but I had the most fun with Plague Knight's campaign. His control scheme was so unique. And Shovel Knight being so disruptive in the campaign made it look like he was the villain (and an asshole) which I found hilarious.

Most def an unpopular opinion.

 

Plague Knight's controls were the hardest for me to learn but I ended up loving all of the campaigns. I mentioned Specter Knight specifically because it is easily the least frustrating. His core abilities like dash slashing, wall jumping and scythe riding all feel so good and make the game a little more forgiving.

 

Ive only played a little shovel knight, I forget through which console, it seems like a perfect fit for the switch though.

Jason's a tool. Don't listen to him. He's a terrible writer and is super critical about the most bizarre things. He also goes out of his way to fuel leaks and stuff.

So in shovel knight on switch, once you start a campaign do you have to finish it before you can play others? I started with plague knight but I really just want to do shovel knight first

 

Yeah I can’t see myself playing Plague Knight. I just tried for like 30 minutes and have absolutely no idea how to jump. Took me 5 minutes to get off the first screen. Was going to break the joy con mashing buttons.

 

So that rumored Panic Button port was Warframe.
