Octo Expansion is soooo good. I'm hooked. Pearl and Marina's banter are hilarious as always.

Just had a buddy over and we played co-op wizard of legend for 2.5 hours and wow that is the best way to play that game. So much fun.

 

Switch Fortnite players are actually the greatest.

 

didn't know Fortnite was free! just started dl'ing it.

playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in the meantime while i make dinner. i suck at these battle modes so hard

i had to go with AndrewS0up.... ugh...

also, apparently i can't completely invert the camera (both horizontal AND vertical) which realllly hinders my ability to play on a controller. played through a little bit and it went disastrously

 

getting top 5 in solo 3 straight games with at least 6 kills is depressing for when I go back to Xbox One or people start to get really good.

Octopath Traveller demo is intriguing as hell and I can't wait to pick up the full game.

 

Finally beat Hollow Knight. Damn that game got hard towards the end. I loved it though.

 

Hollow Knight is an absurdly good deal at $15

Yeah but I've been playing it non stop, haha. A lot of that time was on the final few bosses, not sure whether they were significantly harder than the rest of the game or I was just frazzled from playing so much.

Crazy amount of value for the price though. I've played way shorter games that were more expensive.

 

So you enjoyed the battle system? I've watched videos and can't tell if it looks fun or not.

As someone who’s not a huge gamer, is Splatoon worth it?

 

That's a hard question. It's not a typical shooter, but I do believe it is a game you can pick up and play and not take too seriously. It also helps that it has a single player mode that you can take your time with.

It's a great game, but it is hard to say if it's your style because it is quite different.

 

I’m huge on the normal Nintendo games (Mario, Zelda) and I do enjoy Fortnite. I don’t take shooters too seriously so if it’s more silly and fun than anything I think I may enjoy it.

Ok.

 

Its not that complicated at the beginning but I think as the party grows it'll open up. It's not as complex as Bravely Default but there's still a good amount of strategy figuring out how and when to break.
