If you want to avoid this in the future, I might have figured something out that you likely already know but just in case: I bought the simple key from the shop in Dirtmouth and if you go all the way to the right it unlocks a den where a creature lives. If I understood correctly, it sounds like if you leave a Shade somewhere hard to get back to this thing will retrieve it. IDK, it spoke pretty cryptically, but...

I just finished the part where you have to snipe 30 balloons while railing. This is way harder than what I was expecting, but I kind of appreciate it.

no, you have unlimited markers! Also, you can use the marker for whatever you want so it doesn't have to be designated to the type it specifies in the shop. If I understand correctly, that's just so you can have color coded markers so you know which is which. So far, I've just had one color and I've slapped it wherever there's something that seems significant I want to come back to haha.

I played a handful of matches when it first launched and Xbox and quickly realized it wasn't for me even though I love the idea of BR but was turned off because of the building. I downloaded it to try again and if feels right on the Switch. Not really worried too much about building and just dropping into the hot spots and at least ruining a few people's games before I get knocked out.

Also, I can from my goddamn bed so that's a win.

 

I wonder when there will be a price drop on the Switch.

Just saw you can play 3 hours of Octopath Traveler as a demo and then carry your progress into the full game. Definitely doing that when I finish Hollow Knight.
