I didn't say it denotes quality but I wouldn't sink that into something I didn't think was good

Played a few games, it’s pretty fun. Mario doing the trick shot jump looks so annoying.

Fairly poor comparison in games there. Saying 20 hours on a game is a lot or not, really depends on the type of game.
Putting 20 hours into a 2D platformer, is going to show you most of what the game has to offer. I’d say you can easily make a determination on the quality of a game like Sonic Mania in that time frame.

Now a game like Animal Crossing is more of a slow burn. The content is drip fed to you over a long period of time. By design the satisfaction of playing isn’t nearly as immediate as it would be with a platformer. So making a judgment call on it’s quality at the 20 hour mark, maybe considered premature.

Just got new internet. Finally have been able to play Splatoon without connection errors every 5 minutes. This game is a lot of fun.

Replayability, time trials, speed runs, 100%, etc. There are people who love games so much they play it daily. I've played Super Mario 3 and Super Mario World, both platformers, well over 20 hours because of how much I love the games.

However, I agree. For the general player, for a platformer, 20 hours can be a lot. Unless it's like Super Meat Boy because I took forever because I just sucked at it.

Haha true. It probably took me 20 hours to get past the first chapter of Super Meat Boy.

I honestly suck at most games in general, but that game legitimately made me feel like I was downright stupid with how difficult it was.

I just got the most bullshit ending in Tennis ever. My racket broke, in the semi-final. I was up 1-0 in games. My racket broke. And they called it a KO and I lost the entire match. I want to die

I’m gonna have a lot of fun with Tennis but if they can’t figure out some of the lag online it’s going to be brutal.

Haven't tried online but the offline game I played was super fun. It seems like there's a lot of depth to this game with the trick shots and zone shots.

I am too and I don't typically like those games. It's frightening how much it feels like it came from that era of games.

    so much for them! Prestigious

how difficult is bloodstained? i love the style but im not looking for a brain aneurism if it matches the difficulty of the original castlevania.

There are two modes. One is like a classic Castlevania with knockback and such and the other one is more casual. I really don't do well with difficult games, but I think this one is difficult enough to be challenging but not frustrating.

Just won a tournament and now it entered me into round 2 with people that have won. Hopefully the people that are winning have better connections

As someone who hasn't played a Mario Tennis since the GBC/N64 versions, I'm really enjoying the more in depth mechanics and love it so far. The network issues/lag is a real issue though - too many games have started out with full bars only to eventually find their way down to a completely unplayable one as the match progresses. I'm still almost certainly going to pick it up because I'll play a ton of local play and the story mode looks good but I really hope the online issues work themselves out in the retail release.

Mario Aces is fun but the lag in some matches makes it almost unplayable. I’ll push A and my character won’t swing for about a second later.

    Just a friendly reminder

I accidentally deleted the Mario Tennis demo like a day before it opened up and now I can't redownload :( I'm really excited for it too. Mario Tennis 64 was one of my favourites as a kid and Mario Power Tennis is one of the best Gamecube games ever.
