That looks so hilarious and fun.

 

I was hoping to grab Runner3 but I'm on a budget (due to buying so many magic cards recently) so I grabbed Wizard of Legend instead.

It's really good.

 

Haha that’s part of the charm of a roguelike, until you’re familiar with everything, every run feels like a “what does this button do” scenario

 

I’m starting to get the hang of it. Slowly but surely I’m getting there haha. Enjoying it?

Yeah I’ve been stuck on the N Zap for a while just because used to it. I’m sure there are others that could be better for these lol.

Biggest disappointment in a long time. I’ll always have Runner2 I guess.

 

Weird, everyone seems to love it that I've seen. All the reviews are 7 or 8/10 and most detractors seem to be the difficultly which is what I want out of something like this. Haven't played any of the others though.

Speaking of endless runners, is Super Meat Boy Forever ever coming out?

 

Also: just went to a new arcade in town with my s/o and the Mario Kart arcade machines are a blast. All original tracks, got to race as pac man and each level starts with a roulette which determines which items/stats you get to work with.

 

A lot. I love games where you mix and match stuff haha, kinda like Transistor.

Any cool arcana you’ve found? So far:
- The wind one where you dash grab an enemy and pummel it to the ground dealing area of effect
- The earth one where you summon chess pieces (Rooks) that shield you while stomping enemies
- The ice spear. I love the ice spear.
- The lightning shield

I’m more excited knowing it’ll probably get even more updates in the future.

Also tried it in coop mode with my SO. It’s more chaotic and harder but still fun.

 

My biggest worry is the camera rotating a lot would be disorienting. Is that the case?

 

Not really, all of those sound like they would be so helpful. The only one that I have that's noteworthy is a dash that leaves a decoy of yourself. I'm saving up for a new cloak.

 

I think I like that dash more than what I have right now (creates a trail of fire).

What do cloaks do?

 

I'm pretty sure they give you different buffs like more hp/armor.

 

Just saw I've clicked 40 hrs into both Celeste and The End is Nigh...yikes

Anybody get the Megaman collections? I've never gotten to play anything from the series so I'm wondering if I should

 

It looks like you have to have skill and quick reflexes/reaction time to be good at that game. That's not me. :(

It looks awesome though.

 

I don’t think I’ll be able to judge the game without the bias of nostalgia, but I have it on 3DS and I thought it was still a blast to play.
