I’ve got two. They are both awesome. I generally don’t play my switch any other way.

 

The pro controller is my favorite controller of all time.

 

The wired controllers are perfectly fine, and are fairly cheap especially the Walmart character design ones.

 

I saw that you can detach the wired controllers. Can you still use them when they’re detached?

 

Apparently some Star Fox Grand Prix details. Starting to think this rumor might be legit.

- The game is not like F-Zero
- He’s seen a more complete version of the logo
- The game is based on the arwing (which differentiates it from F-Zero)
- He was told the title “Star Fox Grand Prix” was a tentative title
- The game is a mixture between classic Star Fox and racing
- You shoot enemies to propel forward and get combos; you can shoot other players too
- Each Grand Prix is three tracks with a boss fight- where the boss comes onto the track
- It has a big hub area where you can interact with the Star Fox characters
- You pick up new missions at the hub and there’s story content to go through
- The game looks really really good in motion
- He also heard Retro was considering adding cameos like Donkey Kong
- heard it was a 2019 game, but wouldn’t be surprised if it was a 2018 game.

Really tempted to download DKC Tropical Freeze, but I only have 2 trophies left in God Of War and promised myself I wouldn’t buy any games until I Platinumed that...test of patience.

 

I’ve owned my Switch since launch and only used it docked/with joycons detached once, heh

So stoked for this next week: Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon is an 8-bit Castlevania revival coming this month

 

Holy shit, I finally get to play something like Castlevania

 

First time that series would be difficult, tbh.

 

Got Hyrule Warriors yesterday in the mail and played the first level. That's a really fun fast paced fighting game.

Also that Donkey Kong game is so much fun. I recommend it to everyone. I never played it on Wii U so it's a new game to me.

 

This has a lot of potential as a great party game. Looks like they packed a ton of mini games in here so even if half of them are good it could be a hell of a lot of fun!

Also has anybody played Pac Man CE 2? I've only played the OG arcade machine a time or two but watched a trailer and it looks pretty neat

 

Yeah, I played it. It's really fun, especially for its price. I'd check it out if I were you.

Anybody got any platformer recs? I'm historically bad at video games but have recently discovered I'm okay at these - already beat Celeste/The End Is Nigh/Super Meat Boy/Shovel Knight/Sonic Mania/Rayman
