I recently had to send mine into Nintendo for them to fix it

 

How long did that take for you? The thought of not playing Super Meat Boy for a couple weeks makes me real sad

 

I actually just went ahead and bought new joycons while I had to wait since I needed to do that anyway, but it really didn't take too long I want to say about 2 weeks

 

My left joycon never started working from the launch issue. I just bought a new pair, boxed up my old ones since they looked brand new, and returned them. The new left joycon still has the disconnect issue. Serves me fucking right.

 

Box Boy better be in Smash

 

Switch still on course to be the next Wii

 

also just because I hate myself for this. Best Buy had Breath Of The Wild for $15 earlier today in a price glitch. I can't believe I missed that 15 minute time span.

Super Mario Odyssey getting some new plushies - Nintendo Everything

 

It’s so fucking cool so far. Hah. I really love it. I’ve only played MARIO Kart and Odyssey so far, and really only started Odyseey last night in earnest. But MARIO Kart is everything I wanted it to be and makes me wish I got this sooner. That’s the game I’ve been craving and reminded me why I liked video games to begin with and why Nintendo is the kinda system right for me. I am gonna do Odessey next and then Zelda after that probably.

 

Amazing. Those 3 games are pretty much first up on my list for when I get my switch. I’ve heard so many great things about the console that I’ve finally decided I must own one. Haha. I’m really looking forward to mario kart and odyssey. Big Mario fan. Zelda looks unreal too! My worry is that I will buy every single colour of joy cons that there are because they all look great. Haha. Great to see Nintendo doing well with sales of the switch though. Can only be a good thing.

 

I like Kart - it's classic and follows the same formula. Unfortunately, as a result, it's not that deep. If I remember, Diddy Kong Racing on 64 had a story mode that gave me a lot more initial value.

Everyone loves Odyssey, but it felt like more of an obligation to finish one I got halfway through.

Zelda is the true gem on the system. As a Zelda game, it's familiar, but also reinvented in a great way.

Ultimately, you can't go wrong with any of those three.

 

@Jason Tate it’s not multiplayer but you will be absolutely addicted to Splatoon

 

I bet. I’ve got it on my list but wanna do some stuff with Hannah first. That looks so fun.

 

Besides MK8 (which is my favorite Kart hands down), check out Snipperclips and Overcooked if it’s not on your list already - both great 2-4 player games.

I finished Snipperclips with my SO and it was ton of fun. As Brian (of IGN) puts it, it’s one of the few games where it’s not weird to hear sentences like “I really want you to be a triangle right now”

 

watching through the Game Grumps playthrough of Heart of Darkness and i really hope a port of it makes it's way to the Switch somehow.

 

Snipperclips is definitely the best couch co-op on the system imo. Just so fun and unique.

Niiiice. It's not a straight port either, apparently there will be things specific to the Switch version.
