Lumines is the closest any puzzler has ever come to giving me the same feels as Tetris while playing it. Truly stellar game. Anyone who hasn't played it should 100% check it out.

 

I played Mark Of The Ninja on Steam. I feel confident saying that it is one of the best games ever made and one of the absolute highlights of the last 10 years. Play it.

 

I can't find this anywhere online, but on a recent episode of NVC they said Travis Strikes Again is due early November (I think they specifically said the 6th). I still don't know what to fully make of that game.

 

Whoa you're not kidding. I just watched some gameplay video and that looks super rad.

 

Mark of the Ninja is amazing. I'm glad the game's still in Klei's mind, hope we get a sequel one day when the studio is less busy.

 

It plays even better. There's so many pitfalls in developing games like that but the gameplay is literally perfect. And I'm not someone that throws praise like that around lightly.

finally finished up NitW. I feel I would have enjoyed this far more back in my early 20s, but I just found the gameplay loop super repetitive and never really engaged with the story.

On to Golf Story and getting back into Zelda which has been painfully neglected

 

Tbh I dismissed The Messenger and thought it was too gimmicky, glad to hear that isn't the case, and shame on me for pre-judging it!
