No, but in the past year you would get 60 points for a full price digital game. Going forward you get 300. There is no conversion taking place either. So while I have $4.80 worth of points, someone who buys exactly the same stuff from here on out will get $24 in points. Just kind of whack.

Very unlikely but I’m predicting Project Octopath Traveller will get a new name, Final Fantasy XVI.

 

Kinda slogging through NitW. Was really excited about it, but I've just not engaged with it at all. It's well designed and the music is great, but wish there was a little bit more "game" and it feels really repetitive. Don't get me wrong I love story driven games but something about NitW just hasn't clicked.

 

I felt the same way, and that feeling never fully went away, but fwiw I really enjoyed it by the time it was over. The story definitely clicked for me at some point even if the gameplay never fully did.

Been a busy week. Got back from the LoZ wedding. It was incredibly fun. Posting pictures!

The bride was wearing Zelda's dress, and the groom was wearing a green and beige suit that matched Link's suit. At the reception he was wearing the Champion's Tunic from BotW. I want to post them but I don't want to show their faces here (even though you can probably view those posts from my Facebook anyway).

They also have a version of them cosplaying Ravio and Hilda and it looks so good. I might post them in the next few days if I have time to blur the personal stuff out.

 

also they sliced the cake with the master sword and that was fun to see

also Nintendo Direct in a few hours. Waking up early for that.
