I haven't got that kind of will power.

I want to watch it so badlyyyyyy.

My main hope is still probably Zelda at launch. I don't want to wait until June or something dumb.

Who knows at this point, it could go either way. I personally would be fine with summer since Mass Effect is out in March. I'd rather have Mario at launch.

There's loads in march I want to play but no game matters to me like Zelda.

That's true, however Zelda is pretty much the only franchise that I will drop everything else to focus on. So, for me at least, no matter when it comes out, it's getting my full attention.

Really bummed I work Friday and probably won't be able to preorder the Switch.

Plus it's been like 5 years. I've waited long enough.

Well, it's been five years since the last console Zelda, but A Link Between Worlds came out in 2013 and was phenomenal.

Also, console Zelda titles have been taking longer and longer to come out. There were 4 years between Wind Waker and Twilight Princess and then 5 years between Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword. That's why you gotta play the portable entries in between, the help scratch the itch.

I still have never played Skyward Sword.

A Link Between World's was incredible and probably my favourite 2D Zelda but a 3D console Zelda is its own special event for me.

I don't think I like a Link Between Worlds all that much. I had fun playing a few hours of it and it had some good ideas but it did not really grab me. For that matter, I have not really loved a Zelda game since Wind Waker, which still might be my favorite game of all time. I do think the new one looks amazing, partly because it reminds me of Wind Waker.

I've been thinking that Breath of the Wild could best be described as "Wind Waker on land" for a while now.

I finished A Link Between Worlds so quickly. It seriously only took about a day to finish it. Then again, I had nothing at all to do in Afghanistan. lol

I don't see the WW similarities at all honestly. It looks like it took bits of every Zelda game ever to make the definitive Zelda experience.

I'm in the minority but Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda game, so if the new one is similar to it, I'll be excited.

I think WW is steadily growing in popularity.

The art reminds me of Wind Waker, and the openness. Sure, the ocean was a fake open world, but it felt real. But yeah, I definitely see other Zelda games in there, including the good ideas of A Link Between Worlds.

WW and Adventure of Link are the only home console Zelda games I've never played or beat. I'm in the minority when I say this, but Skyward Sword is probably my favorite.

I'm used to linear stories so BotW being non-linear will have to grow on me.

I've definitely gotten open world fatigue lately, so I hope BoW does it well.

I don't really like open world games and I have no fear.

I just started going through WW again, soooo good. Also gonna try an OoT playthrough before March.
