So uh Night In The Woods is incredible

glad to hear! I'm seriously considering picking it up. is there much, um "gameplay" or is it mostly walk+talk?

 

I want to know this as well, I'm a "gameplay" guy haha.

 

oh, and: I'm still fully on the Celeste train, I've beat the first six b-sides (which I'm really proud of lol) and am working my way through Chapter 7. That'll likely be the last one I can do without assist given how hard the Core was, but I'm going to try!

and when I get too frustrated, I just flip back to SMO and get a few more moons, definitely going to 100% it this time around

 

Hope to start NitW tonight. Been waiting forever, just haven't had time since downloading it Thursday night.

I haven’t even finished the chapter yet, and I can confirm that.

 

I'm not too far in, but I had to do some platforming. It has been mostly walking and talking, but you can bounce around the world as much as you want.

 

Also @Joe I forgot, there are also rhytm game parts in it lol

 

Just got to chapter 9 in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. 120 hours in... Does this game end? I've got to finish soon so I can get good at Dragonball FighterZ haha.

I bought Bayonetta 1 and 2 on the eShop and pre-loaded them, and seeing those icons for the next two weeks on the home page is gonna torture me.

 

God, Celeste is incredible. After beating Chapter 3, I decided to try Chapter 1 B-Side and it is giving me hell.

 

I'm not surprised, I thought it was a good bit harder than the end of the main game haha.

 

There's no way for me to save my progress on Chapter 1 b-side and continue on with Chapter 4 eh? It seemed like, if I quit the B-Side without using "Save and Quit" that I would lose all my progress.

 

I think it saves after each room actually. I quit Ch. 1 B-side to continue the story then went back to it and I started at the room I left off on

 

That would be a dream come true. I'm probably less than halfway through the b-side, so I might just try it out tonight and see. Thanks!

 

for sure! I can't tell how far into it I am so idk if it saves per stage or at like a halfway point, but I'm certain I didn't start again from the beginning

 

Oh shit I didn't know this.

 

I think it's only sections and not every screen but I could be wrong

 

it's probably sections and one just happened to begin at the room I was stuck on for ~200 deaths so it was v appreciated

 

fine guys i get it, i got celeste.

 

I picked it up a few days ago and reached the summit last night. I definitely enjoyed it for the most part, but was not head over heels for it. I feel like it really gets going around chapter 5 and the story starts coming together a good bit. I was feeling really great about my death count until the summit chapter which then increased my count by about 25%, ha. Some parts of that were rough.

Overall it was a good experience, I just don't know how much I'll go back to it since I'm not much of a completionist. Now it'll be time for Night in the Woods!

 

The C-Sides in Celeste... oh. my. god.

 

Got really frustrated a few times when I was trying to do a horizontal dash and would go diagonal.
