Yep, this game is annoying as hell. Wow.

It's not though. You die a lot, but quick respawns, short rooms and tight controls that are pretty easy to pick up means that dying isn't really that bad.

You lose in rocket league and you've lost what, 15 minutes of your time?

You die here and you've spend 30 seconds learning a bit more about how to get through the level.

I've died 111 times in chapter one already and no clue how far I am in. I just got a b-side tape in a side room. A lot of those deaths were just me being stupid and rushing.

Finished Chapter 3 with 22/25 strawberries, b-side, and 480 deaths loooool. There were 2 or 3 strawberry stages that really killed me a lot.

Also there was a secret area where you can play an old prototype of Celeste.

    Pretty cool.

Speaking of dying lots in a game I’m excited for Dark Souls on the switch

I just gotta say I was at Lowe's earlier today and I saw a little kid wearing a Cappy hat and I was so happy to see that.

I’m amazed at how well Skyrim holds up after, what, 8 years? I maybe played 5 hours straight both Friday and Saturday night.

I played human fall flat with some mates last night and it was hilarious (and infuriating). What a great little game.

I played a little of Plague Knight and it was a little frustrating

Plague Knight has the weirdest moveset but it’s my favorite so far. Definitely takes a while to figure out.

On another note, just finished Celeste main story. Good stuff. Gonna go back and try to get every collectible now.

    so much for them! Prestigious

yeah i started plague knight and there was this part in the first level where i couldnt figure out the jump, got frustrated and never came back to it, i wanna play specter knight but i think i should beat plague knight first.

I think I’m going to open all my amiibos today. They are taking up way too much space in their boxes

You can def do them in any order. Spectre Knight is easier imo, and shorter. But it’s also great. I like Plague’s campaign a lot more, the ending was such an aww moment. I really hope the control scheme grows on you.

I did something similar with shovel knight and getting frustrated with the first boss. I went back to it about a month ago and was able to clear it no problem, ha. The rest of the game opens up after that and it gets more fun and a little bit easier with the magic upgrades you unlock. Definitely glad I went back to it.

was just popping in to sing praise for celeste but it looks like yall have that covered. picked it up friday without knowing much about it and wish I wasn't as busy as I was this weekend so i could play more. only on ch. 4 but i love the atmosphere and how charming and emotional the game is so far. the platforming is smooth and fair. i absolutely love it.

Currently working through Chapter 6, still totally in love with this game and as has been said above, I never feel like the challenges are unfair. I usually have an "aha!" moment after a few deaths where I see where I've went wrong

Shovel Knight is amazing and everyone should buy it. Still haven't played Plague Knight but beat Spectre and Shovel and loved both

I only want to buy two out of three right now. Help?

I'm really curious about Night In the Woods but I'm going to wait a little, I'm not sure if those narrative type games are as much for me despite the unanimous praise. I have Oxenfree sitting in my backlog from when it was 75% off so I'm probably going to wait til I play that first and see how I feel

The other two I can vouch for, whatever that's worth
