I started but it was 1am and I just couldn't haha

 

Only died 88 times during chapter 1

Enjoying it a lot so far. Each room being such a bite sized region helps keep it manageable. I imagine once the difficulty ramps up, it'll still be manageable cause you don't lose that much progress when you die.

Only real frustration so far is not being able to go back. Do you have to play the whole level over again or do they give you certain points you can start from so collecting the missing strawberries is less tedious?

 

Three start points in each chapter, even shows you which part the missing berries are in

 

Lol I ended up playing until 2:30 last night and was just dying so much at the end of chapter 3. I had to put it down and finish it this morning because my reaction times were just so degraded

 

What is Celeste’s difficulty comparable to? I know there’s an assist mode but it would bother me to know I was using it haha.

 

HOLY FUCK I just figured out that in Chapter 4 the moving blocks with the arrows, you can control the direction of. FML

I was pretty drunk last night and not knowing about that mechanic made everything seem impossible and I was so confused lol

5 doesn't seem to be too difficult so far but I'm sure they're going to throw something awful at me soon.

 

I'm not even worrying about strawberries haha. I just wanna beat the game without assist mode.

 

I bought Celeste based off the talk in here. Can't wait to check it out.

 

Lmao I suck at this game, I died 126 times before I finished the first chapter and I only got 6/20 strawberries.

 

Don't be discouraged, I think that's a pretty normal amount of deaths tbh

 

I dig the music change after you get to the mirror in Chapter 2.

 

I love the wholesomeness of this game. Other characters encourage you on and don't doubt your confidence to reach the top, instead the doubt comes from within. Actually makes it feel more motivating in an odd little way.

All this constantly dying talk makes it sound awful lol. I get pissed off when I lose one rocket league match. Can't imagine dying 500 times

 

Ugh, i got so annoyed when I found out the chase sequence in chapter 2 was a dream lol. I was getting so worked up trying to get past it.
