I'm not putting any hope in luck so I'll probably start farming for ability parts as soon as I know what playstyle to build on my character.

Honestly feels a bit like MH with the way they're handling abilities. Love it.

 

I've been wondering about this too. The level up process seems so slow but only because no matter how well I might do it seems like I always just get the same amount of exp

 

okay, Splatoon is really fun

 

I finally got Splatoon last night after Amazon fucked up multiple times but I love it

 

I've been doing pretty well with the aerospray mg. Been hitting 2k points pretty consistently when winning.

this was a fun thread to catch up on yesterday. I'll be on through out the day. took a 'recovery' day after my friend's bachelor weekend.

 

I've been splatted by that weapon a lot. That's what I'm planning to use as an upgrade from splattershot.

I was planning to day 1 buy it but I don't want to cut on my Splatoon time.

I think I'll still grab it.

 

this is making me have to completely relearn a genre. I love it.

 

I'll have to pass purely for the fact I have it on the X1.

also it feels like the aerospray is the most common gun so I hope some of the different versions at higher levels are even better.

I've never really been a shooter/multiplayer type of person and in this thread I'm probably decent/above average but the high I'm getting from ruining other people's day is addicting haha. So this is what it feels like!

It's frustrating though I keep getting paired up with fellow level 7/8 teammates while our opponents are on 8-14. Still fun since I end up with 7+ kills with lots of floors covered.

 

yeah I don't get into multiplayer shooters as easily as I used to (unless they're rainbow 6 siege, a game I'll evangelize until I die), but I am having a blast so far with splatoon

 

I think what I love about it is that it's such a different thought process/mindset than most other shooters. You're forced to roam around instead of camping one spot and you can obviously see where your opponent has been by looking at the map. I just love the madness of it all, especially the ranked battles (although I am pretty terrible at the Tower one). I never owned a WII U so this is my first Splatoon experience and I'm definitely loving it so far.

 

Can't stop thinking about and playing Splatoon. Had no idea there was a variety of ranked mode types, or that you have a different rank depending on the mode. Good stuff.

 

The movement in Splatoon is so good. It's the only thing in 2017 that comes close to fulfilling my Tony Hawk needs.

I think Turf Wars is the best mode by the way, the others are cool too though.

 

I just wanna hang out in the walls all day and shoot everyone that walks by.

 

I have never run across anyone in game who even does that.

 

I am a special kind of person

but nah I only jump into the walls if the enemy team is trying to take the middle side areas

I am weirdly into keeping the middle sides and just that area.

 

I was pretty meh on the first game when turf wars was the only mode available to me. Once the rank modes opened up I never went back. Well with the exception of splatfests of course.

 

haven't been able to play all day and i've been going through serious withdrawal after tons of weekend play

 

After playing Splatoon 2 all weekend I can confirm that playing without motion controls is the way to go

 

1st place on my team 3 wins and I am feeling myself... until I hit ranked and it is a disaster.
