Honestly nothing I can really think of in that vein. I guess Dynasty Warriors and its ilk can kind of scratch that itch (the mindless hack and slash against large numbers of enemies part) or at the very least it's the closest sort of thing announced for the system so far - there's Fire Emblem Warriors coming out in the fall.

 

I'm pretty sure an eShop game came out recently that is a game like that but turned into a fast arcade-style game with two minute runs. It's a mobile port but it's supposed to be a good game and a good port. I can't recall the name but there aren't that many recent games to look through on the store.

 

ok who thought motion controls was a good idea for splatoon

I turned it off as soon as I got s chance to do that.

 

There'll always be people that say that the Wii was the best for FPS games. Those people are wrong ;D

 

I'll have you know that call of duty game on the wii was amazing

 

I haven't tried motion controls while docked yet, but using them while playing in handheld for that demo was miserable.

 

I'm about to download it and run through the tutorial before the beta starts.

The Wi-Fi connection at work is too bad for me to play the test fire and I don't get off until it's over.

This demo rules, might have convinced me to buy the game

 

I got into Splatoon late so I only really was able to do the last Splatfest (Marie vs Callie).

I'm going to play the shit out of this game.

 

I was pretty awful with any of the guns, but did alright with the roller. Definitely gonna take some time to get used to the madness because I had no idea what I was doing, ha.

I think it was alright,. Might be because I'm patient with control schemes but I think motion aiming will be more rewarding for me in the long run. I only use the right stick for turning.

apparently GameStop is giving away color changing splatoon cups on Saturday and I want to get one so bad but I work.

 

Splatfest was fairly enjoyable but I just don't think this is for me rn. When Mario Odyssey comes out and Pokemons a little less far off, I know tons of people that will be picking up a Switch and that will make this much more enjoyable, but I don't think this is a game easily enjoyed with randos.
