Nintendo should just make a deal so they can use Xbox Live for everything. A man can dream.

 

My emotional journey this morning:

1. Booted up the store on switch to buy ARMS digitally
2. Mis-read the checkout screen and thought I needed to spend $100 in credits to buy the $65 game
3. Ordered from amazon prime instead for $47 physical, angry that I have to wait a couple more days to play
4. Realized my initial mistake and I could have just paid 65 for the instant gratification
5. Oh well

 

why does it cost more digitally than physical?

 

Right? Amazon logic.

 

Being optimistic but maybe there's a chance you get it early.

ARMS is so fun after you really start getting into the controls, but it's definitely not for everybody.

 

That's the case with every game I have bought in the last two years for every platform. I frequently pay 15€ or 20€ less on day one by buying a physical copy. Big box retailers (and Amazon) use cheap games to get people into their stores so they buy shit that might actualy make the stores money.

 

One more reason to never go digital.

 

Not as long as they're selling physical copies for a reasanoble price. Call me crazy but I like the concept of ownership.

 

Only game I have digitally other than free stuff from PS+ or Xbox Gold is Destiny. I play it so much I just always want it available without having to carry a disc. I still buy everything else physically.

 

I buy deeply discounted games digitally but that is it, unless we're talking indie games of course

 

Given the American flags in the username of the tweet, I don't think the writer or the tweeter are actually serious in their complaints. Just edgelords doing edgelord shit.

I have definitly seen some serious complaints about it. I don't think I agree with them though. Cultural appropriation is a valid concept but it is thrown around way too much in my opinion, which is bad for everyone involved. I say this as someone from a culture that is frequently "used" for various things.

 

I expect everyone in this thread to only play cobra kid in honor of me.

 

ARMS Grand Prix spoilers Ohhhh Max Brass is the champion, makes sense why they're adding him into the game so quickly

 

Another thing about digital/physical...its not like carrying physical switch games in your carrying case is a burden, the things are so ridiculously tiny, haha.

 

I'm maining Ribbon Girl at the moment. Utilizing those 3 extra mid air jumps will probably be tricky but at least I'm learning something.
