the fate anime series is pretty solid and definitely not a vehicle for fanservice and its a shame the fanbase has turned it into that

New ARMS character on Treehouse! Max Brass, has a "pump up" move when charged and doesn't flinch when hit when pumped up + arms stay permanently charged when health is low.

First update is spectator mode, coming this month.

Second update is next month and includes Max Brass.

 

I'm holding off on ARMS. I laid out my finances and wanna save for vaca next weekend. Still got 20-30 I can toss around. Should I buy Shantae or Wonder Boy?

I agree with this though.

 

ARMS. I absolutely hate it that my country has to follow Nintendo of America's pattern for release dates because that means Friday 12NN is when digital games become available (when I'm still at work which would mean I need to go home around 8PM so I could start my download). That's actually why I find it hard to go digital, I get so eager I buy the game in my local videogame store before 12 haha.

 

I never knew "fan service" could serve as a double entendre before today.

I now wonder if I've been misinterpreted as I rave about how full of fan service Dragon Ball Super has been lol.

Also still in the ARMS race (ha!), Max Brass looks good. I wonder how many more character ideas they have in their sleevs right now.

 

I'm holding off Arms for Cave Story instead.

First article I've ever read of theirs and I was like 'Eh.'

 

I have only played Wonder Boy, but Shantae seems like the better value from what I've read as far as how long the game is and whatnot. Wonder Boy only took me a few hours to get through, but I really enjoyed it. Both have the art style that suckers me into buying, so I'm sure I'll end up getting Shantae at some point, ha.

 

yeah I mean I don't have extensive knowledge on the site, but I've seen enough gamergate sympathizing shit to basically write it off

 

ARMS is out here! Also getting that yellow joycon. I refuse to leave earth without owning one.
