yeah no VC seems like a big omission, but I'm a little more bummed out about the lack of updates on some of the indie titles from that Direct earlier this year. Need me some Wargroove and Stardew Valley news ASAP

 

I really want Hollow Knight.

 

Yeah, lack of dates is another one but there's still time to announce dates during Treehouse streams/E3 in general.

 

At this point I get triggered just seeing the name. Just about ready to crack and play it on PC.

 

I was supposed to work an event for four hours today trying to get random passersby to sign up for organ donation, which would've been 12-4 and eat up all my sanity/Treehouse time. Just got cancelled, and my boss is out sick. Aw yiss.

 

All work I plan to do gets thrown out the window E3 week. I'll just, uh, work extra hard next week.

 

my second work monitor has basically been E3 dedicated all week, it's worked out so far

 

For me, it's been live stream on the left monitor and chorus on the right lol

 

Just saw that there's only a half hour of Treehouse before who knows how long of a Pokken tournament I couldn't be less interested in. Boooo :(

 

bummer, then Imma guess not much new news today. wish I could get excited about Pokken Tournament

 

Wait really? Must just be for Yoshi then, because they said yesterday that Yoshi would be shown today.

 

...and the game they're showing off before a Pokken tournament is....Pokken

 

So lame. Whatever

I don't care how long I have to wait, I will demo Odyssey.

That Yoshi game looks pretty incredible visually. I missed the beginning of it, but did they say the world flipping mechanic was only possible with two players?

 

For the flip while you're in a level, seemed like it. For single player you can replay levels from the other side once you beat them.

 

That seems annoying to me.

 

Yeah that doesn't seem ideal.

Side note: I love that the Splatoon translator is also in a lab coat and sunglasses.

 

It didn't seem great, no. The style is gorgeous but doubt I'll end up playing it.

 

It's something I might get if I ever see it for cheap. I'd like to know how vital multiplayer is to that Kirby game too. It looked to be a focus.

 

The Good-Feel games (like this Yoshi) are cute games made mostly for kids and co-op with kids. That's just the way it is.

 

I showed the Kirby and Yoshi trailers to my 5 year old son and thought he might explode from excitement. Especially when he saw the Whispy Woods boss in Kirby, ha. It's gonna be crazy fun playing those with him.
