Now we get Koopa/Goomba amiibo. Bleeding me dry.

 

I haven't bought a single one, but every new game that gets an amiibo is just tipping me further and further into just dropping so much money. I'm weak.

 

I've seen/played enough ARMS, just let it be Friday.

The 3D Sonic is going to be bad people stop lying to yourselves

 

It's going to be great just like Generations and Colours, I am very excited to finally get a new good Sonic game.

I am slightly worried about the player created character sections though.

 

Generations was easily the best out of all the modern sonic games imo and this looks to be a continuation of that style. I'm down.

Character creation is great, if only for the sole reason that Coldsteel the hedgeheg might finally come to life. Don't let your memes be dreams

 

Sonic Generations is one of my favourite games so I'm very glad they're going back to that.

I don't even know what Coldsteel is, I'm not up to date on my Sonic memes. I just never enjoy playing as anyone but Sonic in Sonic games and seeing that you have flamethrowers and hookshots and shit is making me nervous, ha. I'll probably just try and make another black and red hedgehog if possible.

 

Colors was good too

 

Odyssey looks pretty god damn awesome. Music is super tight, Kirkhope did it though so that's no surprise

 

Coldsteel is simply the amalgamation of every edgy fanmade sonic character ever made in one satirical image

And yeah I'm on the same page as you for that. Always felt unnecessary. Sonic Unleashed had some great Sonic levels but I really just couldn't stomach the Werewolf sections. Sure it'll be fine with this, though. At least you're not piloting a mech or looking around for STUPID GODDAMN EMERALDS or just generally playing incredibly slow characters in this, it's just Sonic-esque gameplay with twists it seems

 

The daytime stages for Sonic Unleashed are some of my favorites of the whole series, but yeah those werehog stages held it back so much. Yeah, it definitely looks a lot less offensive than what we've had to suffer through in past games.

 

Fact, sadly.

 

Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga remake is great for anyone that missed it on GBA. Such a great game.

It is, but this is still great. I do agree though that the old art style was way better even though this style is closer to Super Mario RPG.

 

I've always wanted to play Superstar Saga, even bought the GBA version but never got to play it because my DS broke and then I upgraded to a 3DS which obviously doesn't play GBA games.

 

Superstar Saga is a great game.

Odyssey looks like a ton of fun. So stoked for both Metroids, glad they're making a 3ds one. I will 100% be getting a Switch.

 

I just watched the Kirby trailer again and definitely did not notice that it was a multiplayer game during the reveal. That game is going to be so rad.

 

30 minutes. So good.

 

I'm going dark on Mario now. Seen enough.

 

I'll watch the new footage I missed with the girlfriend because she missed the treehouse and is equally excited and probably do the same, don't wanna spoil everything
