this is what I like to see

 

Has-Been Heroes is half off digitally at GameStop. I have heard mostly bad things about it, but I just bought it anyways

 

Disgaea 5 is way more customizable than I thought:

- Cheat shop where you can play around with EXP, currency, skill exp gains at the cost of increasing/decreasing other areas (so you can increase EXP but decrease money earned)
- Map editor/creator
- Base editor (you can even make your own base out of scratch and then add the NPCs like merchants and stuff
- a very intricate color editor for sprites (it's probably similar to what the developers use)

And that's just the ones I found today. So basically there's high level game dev kit inside the game itself aka modder tools. It's pretty amusing.

My Switch battery indicator suddenly won't go past a certain % no matter how long I charge but I'm not sure if the battery is broken or the indicator

 

Nintendo World Report (and their podcast Radio Free Nintendo) always has great e3 coverage.

 

For those of you that watched all the memories in Zelda before the languages patch, I recommenda watching them again in Japanese because it really brings the story to life

 

I plan on doing that at some point. Probably just before DLC 2.

 

This the only Nintendo thread? I just bought new cords and controllers for my old gamecube, gonna start playing a lot of Smash and Double Dash

 

Just got my Switch and Mario Kart!

Arms is probably next and then I'll wait a bit for Odyssey and whatever Fire Emblem comes out eventually.

 

I did this in some of the memories when the update came in.

I plan to do the second run in Japanese. I swear my Link is going to more clever and action oriented and be less derpy second time around. Haha.

 

Update: my hands are sore and Mario Kart is some bullshit you never get hit with one thing, its always like seven things hit you in a row and then you fall off the course and go from first to eighth.

 

A few of my buddies and I were playing Mario Kart the other night and I was in second place, with my friend Jake in first. It was an incredibly tight lap and I ended up getting nine red shells in a row, using the first three to knock him outta 1st, steal it, and then I just fired the rest back and I think like six or seven hit him. He came in 9th. He was mad.

 

I know I should keep my expectations realistic but after watching all these E3 presentations I'm getting anxious at the Nintendo spotlight (not because I thought the others were good, and Nintendo's would look pale in comparison. I don't think they're bad either. Just that I want to watch the presentation that's really catered for me). A part of me is excited, and another just wants to know what the rest of the year looks like for us.

 

Looks like I'm buying Skyrim for the 3829th time.

Reggie said the spotlight will be rapid fire/to the point. Confirmed reveals, exclusives, and first looks. I'm excited. He also said there would be more news during the first hour of Treehouse.

 

I think that Skyrim stuff looks really bad lmao

 

I love it haha. I play as an archer 99% of the time so if I play with motion controls and drink enough it'll be like I'm there :p

 

Wait what is the languages patch I missed that

 

My dream for Spotlight is a reveal of the SNES classic, as well as the same bundled games available on Switch as VC for the same price as the physical unit, with the added bonus of online for select multiplayer games.

 

That would be coool.

 

Tempted to get Skyrim just because it's portable...would be great for killing time in airports and shit. Also, link.

However, that one scene in the trailer has HORRIBLE fps. I'm surprised they included it.

 

The game updated a few weeks ago and now you can change languages (including Japanese with English subtitles)

 

Which is funny because the Switch is more powerful than a WiiU which was more powerfull than the 360 so you'd figure this port should be better (based on this video)

 

Holy shit how did I miss that hahah that's the one thing I've wanted most with that game
