Kind of weird to drop something that close to E3, but I'm not mad about it!

 

They have said a long time ago that they are done with "the third game". That's why they did Black/White 2 and why there was no "Pokemon Z". However, companies change their minds, and Nintendo might have forced it. It could also very well be abother 3DS Pokemon. I mean they still released Black/White 2 on DS even though the 3DS was out and the 3DS has more life left than the DS did at that point.

 

I'm still holding out for a third Pokemon Pinball. Electronic crack.

 

...Well now I'm on the hype train. Assuming it turns out to be a new game I imagine they'd have some footage or more info at E3 right?

Pokemon pinball was the only game I ever played on my Gameboy Color. I'd be so hype for this even though I don't have and don't plan on ever getting a 3DS.

I would be so surprised if it's a new Pokemon game for Switch that isn't an HD version of an old Pokemon game. Probably something similar to what MHXX will be doing with cross play.

I'm def excited though.

 

I know I'm in the minority among Pokemon fans and rightfully so, but I would love another Kanto remake with a big beefy postgame.

 

sun and moon kind of hints at a kanto remake with all of its gen 1 stuff and specially with lillie going there at the end of the game. my guess is "stars" is a direct sun and moon sequel that takes place entirely or largely in kanto

also pretty sure we get pokken tournament for the switch with the new characters added to arcade and a few gen 7 mons (decidueye, incineroar, tapu koko)

also itll never happen but id kill for the pokemon tcg online as an app for the switch

additionally gamefreak seems to be interested in making stars for the switch, in which case i dont think we see it tomorrow unless its some really really early info (i get the feeling gf isnt too prepared for a main series game in a home console). if thats the case i think their big reveal for tomorrow is dp remakes for the 3ds

 

Watched a DYKGaming episode this weekend on Pokemon snap. I think a modern take of this would lend itself soooo nicely to Pokemon GO's AR.

 

I kind of like the Star Fox Zero controls.

 

I would too honestly, especially if it had Johto available to travel to in the post-game like a reverse of the gen 2 games.

 

Honestly, how has it not happened. People would eat it up

 

I just want to imagine how insane it would be if Nintendo did every single Pokémon and did a limited run.

People might actually die.

 

I would imagine they're waiting on developing some kind of companion spin off game to use Pokemon amiibo with before they start making them. It's only a matter of time. I would guess that we'd get a few physical figures per generation, and the rest would be card packs.

I just want ARMS amiibos. I'd buy them all.

 

I'd buy a Skitty amiibo in a heartbeat though.
