Got the last one at Best buy. Gonna wait for the wireless controllers to play a bunch though

 

I can't believe this would be something that would sell out. Didn't expect that. Good for them

 

Hopefully it doesn't take to long to get them back in stock.

 

Like I could picture this for the switch but I didn't think kids would want this as badly.

 

The weirdest part is that they are WELL AWARE of the demand for it.

This happens with every single console release.

 

I got the console but no extra controller. Sucks that I won't get home until 8.

 

Fought through gamestop's crashed site and managed to get one. No extra controller, but they should get those back in stock fast, no?

 

I'm waiting at work to hopefully get it on Amazon.

 

This was my original plan, considering I have Prime, but didn't want to risk their inventory being low once I had one in my cart. Haven't paid a shipping fee in so long, bye bye $10 :(

 

It was available, but now I keep getting errors.

 

Had it in my cart. Forgot I don't have prime anymore. Wanted me to pay 20 in shipping. In my hesitation it sold out

 

Oh my god. I didn't realize how limited this was. I'm sooooooo lucky. I randomly remembered last night that they went on sale and so I thought "Hey, I'll go buy some xmas gifts"

I got 4 from bestbuy.com with extra controllers without even realizing they were so limited. I kinda feel bad knowing how hard people tried to just get one.

 

Right after I bought mine I had to go to work. Ugh. I just want to play! 2 more hours!

 

I'm spending way too much time on Dr Mario.

I'm missing a lot of games, like Circus Charlie, Contra (NES had Super C), Megaman 1, Mappy and wish they added more than 30 but the lineup is pretty solid.

Goddammit I feel like a kid again. Haha

 

Anybody else having trouble getting the sound to work?

 

I saw comments on reddit about it. They haven't had any luck either (unless that was you). I also read one comment about retailers having few extra copies of the console that weren't for sale, and will be used for replacements instead.

I've been having NES withdrawals (I'm outside today and cannot play) so I'm just browsing reddit Nintendo. If I find anything I'll definitely post it here.

Want to go home and play Super C so badly.

Last night I played dr Mario until my eyes hurt.

 

The classic selling out was easy to call imo. It will interest hardcore gamers who are into collecting stuff like that but more importantly it was priced and advertised perfectly to more casual gamers who have nostalgia for those old games.

 

Update: sound worked when I plugged it into a different TV.

 

Can the Classic be hacked to add more games?

I was just at Walmart and saw they randomly had a few 3rd party controllers for the nes with a 9ft cord. Took it to the register and it wouldn't scan. They wouldn't sell it to me because it wasn't supposed to be out yet

 

Price for the Switch *MAY* have leaked. Rumor is that it will go for around $250 for the regular and $315 for deluxe that comes with a game and more storage.
