Rumor: Super Mario Odysseey Launches in November • r/NintendoSwitch

If this is true then Ninty must be really confident with Odyssey. Which makes me even more excited for Odyssey. I can't handle 2 Nintendo GOTYs in 1 year.

 

Those Smash shots are most likely elaborate fakes.

 

Of course they are. November makes perfect sense.

 

I assumed November was a given for Odyssey. couldn't see it being released any later than that.

 

I never thought Mario'd release in any other month than November, that's probably the safest "rumor" ever. It was said around the time of the formal reveal in January that the game was pretty much complete so they were setting it aside to be their big holiday title.

Oh. It was just me then. Haha I was expecting it to be out on December/January just because there's so little info about it.

So it looks like E3 for Nintendo will really be Mario-centric, with the new rabbids as well.

Switch + Mario on the biggest game expo of the year. Going to generate so much momentum.

All signs point to the game having been completely finished by fall of last year, but they held onto it to spread out releases.

Haha, but for real though are you guys planning to watch E3 direct live? I'm heavily considering taking a leave that day.

 

This will be the first year, since 2001, that I won't be watching E3 or be able to give it my full attention.

I'll be driving up 9 hours and doing some community outreach in Atlanta with 15 teenagers during that week.

 

I hope to watch the direct live or at least find a live blog somewhere to follow along to

 

I always try and watch every E3 press conference live.

It was either E3 week or the week after and not being home with my kids on Father's Day.

We're staying at a church for a week, just northwest of downtown. Don't think I can get away, as it's literally my job to keep the teenagers on task and safe.
