I, like, RREEAALLLLYY want that Mario x Rabbids game. Looks like a blast. Turnbased RPG with multiplayer? Nightmare fuel crossover Rabbids? Isometric world that looks lifted straight from Super Mario RPG?

Oh man. The humor potential there is enormous. Imagine Bowser picking a Rabbid dressed like him over Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings, causing them to join up with Mario for revenge in the final act?

For someone wanting to get in to fire emblem, should I go for awakening or the remake they just did?

 

Awakening might be best for an intro.

 

Awakening is probably the best to start with, almost certainly much more of an indication of where the series is going to go in the future and a little more straightforward than the remake and its weird/unique systems.

I'd say Awakening if you want something that's more nonlinear. Conquest if you want the old school FE experience.

Been online for shorter periods lately - work and binging on switch.

Still recommending Disgaea 5 and still need to emphasize how awesome it is on a bigger screen. I never thought the day would come where the definitive way of playing it would be on a Ninty.

 

What was your lineup? I wasn't into the story as much haha. But I liked the characters.

My Oboro and Orochi were awesome tanks. Hinoka is my favorite Hoshido royalty

Fates has the cleanest/best gameplay though, I'll give it that.

 

It's complicated but the problems mostly come down to a mix of censorship and protectionism

 

I mix it up all the time, though I always use the core group of characters I guess. The story is definitly better if you play all three Fates games.

 

My greatest joy in life is destroying my colorblind roommate at the Puyo Puyo half of Puyo Puyo Tetris.

 

Not if you never played FE before, the only thing that made it boring for me was the lack of challenge for a seasoned player like myself

 

I haven't played the 3rd path but I really enjoyed Conquest. Way more.

 

I'm slowly grinding through Birthright and just want it to be over so I can get to Conquest/Revalation/Echoes. I'm really excited to get to Echoes after all I've heard about it.

 

I wonder where Shadows of Valentia fit in the difficulty scale of the series.

I've mostly been playing Normal until Shadow Dragon. I started playing on Hard and couldn't really go back. The only Lunatic I've ever done is Birthright and the only time I'll ever do that again is if I have way more free time. Haha.

 

Does anyone know where someone living in the US can pre-order a pair of the green/pink joy cons? I have no idea what major distributers in the UK or JP would sell them.

 

Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.jp or whatever would be the easiest choice, if they end up selling them

 

Wait a couple weeks, it's possible/probable they get officially announced for over here at E3. The joycons aren't out until the fall anyway so there's still plenty of time to announce a US release, hard to imagine they won't eventually.
