I think one of my most unpopular takes is that wind waker GameCube is better than the Wii u version

 

The prediction I saw that I think might have some weight to it: is a giant Rare dump on NSO 64. DK64, Diddy Kong Racing, Perfect Dark, Banjo Tooie , ect. Those are the last few N64 classics not on NSO. Makes sense to drop them now in the last year of the system.

 

Rare game(s) on n64 is all but guaranteed

Oh I just thought of this maybe we’ll get some super Mario bros wonder DLC

Fire Emblem remake
New Mario Party
Some kind of Zelda port (leaning more towards remake/remaster of a 2D handheld Zelda)
Mario/Sonic Paris Olympics
Metroid Prime 2/3 Remaster (2 by the end of the year, 3 sometime next year)
Metroid Prime 4 date announcement no trailer or footage.

 

I remember Diddy Kong Racing was just as fun as Mario Kart 64

 

I want them to put fire emblem sacred stones on gba console

Rare NSO dump, or even just DK64 at a minimum
Zelda WW/TP October and November
Metroid Prime 2 August
Metroid Prime 3 September
Metroid Prime 4 February
SMB Wonder DLC
FE4 remaster January

Would love a Zelda 2D remake ala Link’s Awakening or a new game, but they probably save that for the next console if it happens

 

Dread has been awhile, but I also think it would be too soon to do 2D Metroid 6. I wonder what that team is working on. I don't think I have heard anyone talk about possible Zero Mission or Samus Returns remasters, or even a Fusion remake.

 

Pre-direct announcement. Just Miyamoto saying the Japanese release date for the next Mario Bros movie is April 24th, 2026

 

i'm about to get ready for bed so i can actually be up on time for this Direct (why must you always make the west coast suffer, Nintendo )

i don't think i really have a wishlist- i know we're not getting anything about a new 3D Mario or Metroid Prime, those are gonna be announced when they announce the new system as launch titles, i'd put money on it
i hope we get Metroid Zero Mission on NSO, as well as Wind Waker (pls god)
i'd love some news on Professor Layton, i don't recall hearing anything else about that since the reveal teaser.

also, something i'd personally love, is ARMS 2 !!!
i hope they keep up w this new IP, its really interesting and i hope they choose to improve on it and not just drop it because it didn't do too well (when they didn't support it v well in the first place)

 

I like having the directs early on the west coast because I wake up, start watching a little after it already happened and I get to skip the stuff that doesn’t interest me

 

Arms is made by the Mario Kart team. Considering how insanely well MK sells and how long it has been since they've had a brand new one, I doubt Arms is Nintendo's top priority for them, especially on the new console.
