I don’t have thousand year door yet but was planning on maybe buying it next week if I don’t need to play the first one. I could easily play the first on the n64 virtual console but I don’t wanna start it if I’m just gonna start thousand year door in a week

 

I’d say go with the first one if you plan on doing both and don’t care about waiting. The order doesn’t really matter, but at least you’ll get the experience of how they built on the first one for TTYD

 

Eh I kinda care about waiting the only reason I’m not getting TTYD like tomorrow is because I just don’t have the money or means to get it yet (I prefer physical on switch) but Tuesday night I’ll be able to grab it if I want and I won’t finish the first one by then

 

Oh yeah just go right to TTYD then, my bad. Lol

 

If I like it I’ll def go back to the first eventually

 

I’m pretty sure I have sealed copy of GCN Thousand Year Door now that I think about it. Might have been the beginning of my “lets buy games but never play them era” that I’m still in today

Now that TTYD is finally out, what will be the next Gamecube port on the Switch, other than the obvious Wind Waker and Twilight Princess because why wouldn't they be?

 

I need the Wind Waker port like yesterday. I have never played it, and I’ve been holding out for a remake of it.

Someone has listed the slip cover for TTYD on ebay for $70. Good way to just let it collect dust.

 

Glad I’m not the only one with a cabinet full of unopened games that I can’t stop buying!

 

How could I forget

 

Yeah, like, I can mod Windwaker GC to look beautiful on my emulator but I would love those QOL enhancements the Wii U version got

 

Yeah I think I definitely have some PS3 and 360 games unopened too

 

My habit is even worse, I open them even if I never play them so I don’t have anything sealed despite never playing a ton of my games lol. I do try to buy used tho. But yeah I’m like oh nice let me open it and put the cartridge in my case with the other carts and never touch it

 

Paper Mario 64 is so whatever that TTYD triumphs over it by a crazy margin.

 

God damn TYD is so fucking good

 

Viewtiful Joe needs to be the next port besides WW/TP

My backlog is fucking pathetically huge but I might get TTYD and have it jump the entire line because it's one of my favorite games of all time and I haven't played it in over a decade

 

This is me but I have to wait for my copy to come in because it still hasn’t shipped. Do it for us both!
