The first thing lrg got saga for was persona if I read tweets right I don’t think they needed sega fir jp

 

I don't know what Persona has to do with this, but Sega made the JP games for their consoles, so I presume they would have to be involved in any attempt to re-release them, wouldn't they?

 

I’m saying the first proper games lrg did with sega was Persona 3-4 so if they could get them they could get other sega games

 

Okay. I'm not sure how that changes anything about what I originally said, but it doesn't really matter cause I dug deeper and BlueSky Software actually made the JP games for Sega, so if anything I assume they'd have to be involved.

I actually don't know how that works when it's a licensed franchise. If a company makes a game based on a license, who owns the rights to the actual game? The licensor? The developer? The publisher? All of them? I mean, it probably ultimately depends on whatever stipulations they worked out between themselves, but it's interesting to think about.

 

Actually, to clarify something, originally the Sega games were not announced to be part of the collection. That was something announced later. I don't know if that was always intended as a surprise or if they got the go ahead later after hearing people's backlash about their exclusion, but that's why I made my comment.

 

Nothing he’s made thus far makes me think that he has the talent to pull that off but I guess we’ll see.

 

Anyone know anything about the Rocket League update? My son plays it and the new update is like, not downloading at all. Just buffering at 0% for a while.

Yeah, going on like 90 minutes and only 4%. Have tried restarting switch and doing it again. It won’t fucking download.

 

I haven’t really bought much for my switch this year other than TOTK and Fire Emblem. What are some recs you guys have? Other than the obvious ones like Mario, Metroid, etc.

I have Triangle Strat! Played last year when I had Covid but need to go back and finish. And have Sea of Stars that I got on PS+. Will check out child of light though!

oh yeah, i downloaded the demo for Dave the Diver, as well as Mega Man 11, Mega Man Battle Network Collection, the Portal Companion Collection, Unsighted, and i forget if i mentioned already but earlier last month i picked up Super Mario RPG, Windjammers 2, and Garden Story
and traded in Pokemon Arceus for Super Mario Wonder


i should probably play some of these

 

my favorite Switch game except for the two you already own is Astral Chain.

 

Smash Ultimate is getting new content for its 5th anniversary (please give us a fighter pass vol 3 sometime next year)

Holding out irrational hope for this at the Game Awards tonight

 

I keep seeing people assuming it'll be a OoT remake. That one of the games I would consider untouchable as far as remakes go. I would be shocked and the kind of disappointed if it's that.

 

OOT or MM would really surprise me given both are on Switch Online (although tbh I’ll be surprised if we get anything at all, those would just surprise me even more)
