Simon Helberg as Tingle is the only option.

I'd say Gerard Butler or Jason Momoa as Ganondorf but I'm sure there's way better choices here.

Halle Bailey as Ruto/Zora Princess. Depending how old you wanna go with Zelda/Sheik, Annabelle Wallis or Jodie Comer.

Isaiah Haegert as young Link, or a no-name.

It was just my dumb thoughts on what I think might be okay casting. By no means do I think it's the best.

And the love stuff would only apply to adult Link/adult Zelda, etc.

Knowing Hollywood and getting hype around this movie, it'll be Tom Holland as Link and The Rock as Ganondorf.

Jack Black as King Darunia probably.

Either way I don't see good casting happening here. Hope I'm wrong.

two days since announcement and im already sick of the rote gamer cynicism. a reminder you don't have to watch it, some things aren't for you, and that the movie won't be taking your video games

 

With Nintendo you legitimately can't say that because they actually do remove games from being sold and played like Super Mario 3D All Stars, Mario 35, Dragalia Lost, & Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light.

i guess i just don't see the harm. it's strictly additive - it is not taking the space of game development, it isn't taking the place of a darker Zelda story because we were never going to get that, and when i have kids im going to be thrilled to have this shit be the background noise tbh. if Miyamoto hasn't earned this as a lark, no one has.

 

It would be awesome if it were the darker stuff like Majora's, but you're probably right. They wouldn't do that.
