Arms is a game that I think would be fun playing with friends by having tournaments, but as a game on its own I would be bored with it pretty quickly.

I'm probably going to pass on ARMS. I think it looks interesting, but it's not really something I'd see myself play enough to make the purchase worth it.

 

If ARMS would be embraced by the FGC, I'm be more interested in watching people play.

honestly, that was a great presentation. the thing that stood out to me most too was something they didn't even focus on. the maps are really unique, as in they aren't normal fighting game maps. they look more similar to a shooter game map just scaled down, which is really interesting to me.

for those that didn't watch. free dlc after launch, beta starts next week. game looks good

 

biggest surprise is that they're not doing arms amiibos

will definitely check out the beta, it feels like a smart move on their part

 

they're going full splatoon, between the beta and free dlc and updates, it's really smart. like splatoon it's an idea that seems neat but i really need to play for myself to see if i personally feel like the game has enough legs for me to spend $60 on. i bought splatoon because of the betas, hope to be similarly sold on arms.

It looks awesome but I still don't know how that game plays.

I'm a fan of rhythm games though.

And I love how splatoon is testfire and arms is testpunch. Nintendo with the dad (or uncle?) jokes.

 

Those green/pink joy cons better come to America or I guess I'll pay for them with overseas shipping. Fml
