Ah yes, the famous “complain about Dread’s difficulty on chorus only to beat it handily shorty thereafter”-pipeline is rearing its head again. :)

Before I start playing Wonder I want to at least get to Raven Beak on Dread.

Just got the Gravity Suit, just entered the icy area on my way to get Screw Attack. So just Screw Attack, Cross Bomb, Wave Beam, Power Bomb, and then I am at the endgame.

 

Seriously though. A mini boss in the middle of a section should not be significantly harder than any LoZ Ganon final boss fight I have ever done.

Wonder is good though.

I got the $100 voucher and used it for Wonder and Mario RPG. The year of Mario, 2023.

 

Going from Dread to Wonder is some tone shift lol

 

Wonder is so wholesome and fun.

 

The first few stages I was like "wow this game is really easy so far"...then I played my first 4 star stage lol

 

This game had me when all the Piranha Plants broke out into song

 

I hope Nintendo doesn't fix this in a patch lol

 

Wonder is a fucking blast

 

Is this the first Mario 2D platformer has saves states right before boss fights? Because thank god. SMB 1-4 having to do the second half of the castle over again every time I lose the boss fight was always too much.

 

Sometimes I’ll post something before bed and then I wake up and check my notifications and a bunch of people quoted me and I have no recollection of what I posted and I panic

 

Where is everyone at in Wonder? Just finished World 2 and got my 2nd Royal Seed.

 

I just played an hour or so of Wonder. It’s pretty magical. It’s so wild how far they are ahead of anyone when else when it comes to stuff like this.

 

I’m almost done with the the second section? Idk what each section is called but I’m about to fight bowser jr again. Some of the 4 star difficulty levels don’t play around. So far I like the game

 

I was apparently heading into a chunk of Sea of Stars where I wasn't allowed to save for a bit, so I only got to play four levels of Wonder before I had to get to bed. I love how much it plays with expectations of what you can do with a Mario platformer. It's such a delight and I can't wait to play more!

 

Before starting Wonder I don’t think I realized that the wonder seeds would do something “on theme” with every level. Super cool imo
