Alright now I think I'm gonna finished Detective Pikachu, and then I will play Wonder and Pikmin at the same time, alternating between them.

 

Its so obvious that the twist in Detective Pikachu Returns is going to be the same as the movie. They're not even trying to be subtle about it.

 

Wonder was also my motivation for dispatching Ganondorf. I skipped a few of the nastier enemies on my hoverbike but still enjoyed the journey, and ending, immensely. The connections to the story's beginning were tastefully done.

 

There is a massive Bethesda sale on the eshop this week. Right now Skyrim is less than $20, Wolfenstein and Doom Eternal for $10, and all the older version of Doom are only like $2 a pop.

 

Valkyria Chonicles 1 and 4 are on sale for $9.99 as a bundle which is an insane deal.

I've always wanted to try them so I grabbed this deal.

 

Detective Pikachu gameplay is so annoying. So much start/stop/start/stop and so much long needless text blocks explaining common sense things in already figured out organically.

 

Detective Pikachu done. Now I'm thinking maybe I can finish at least one more Switch game I previously put down before I get Wonder tomorrow.

I don't think I have enough time/patience to finish out Dread right now. I dont have the 100+ hours I need to finish FE: Three Houses. I didn't have much left in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, so maybe I'll push through that tonight too. Also might not take too long to finish Captain Toad too.

 

absolutely worth it. Series was completely off my radar and I bought the first one on a whim since it was $10. Didn't start it for like a year, but once I finally did I was very pleasantly surprised by it. Unlike any game I've ever played, very challenging and fun

 

Wow I guess I was further along in Kirby and the Forgotten Land than I thought. I made it to the final boss fight in just a couple hours of playing from where I left off.

Not a huge fan of the 4 back to back to back to back boss fights in the endgame here. Demon King Dedede was sick though.

 

Oh yeah Fecto Elfilis is way harder than Demon King Ganondorf. A final boss in a Kirby game should not be this OP. This is like cartoon animal Sephiroth or something.

 

Most likely I’ll be picking up Super Mario Wonder but I want to wait until I finish Paper Mario Origami King first (taking my sweet time)

 

Kirby done. Three Switch games checked off my list in 24 hours. And no I am not doing Kirby's huge post-game stuff right now. If I see the credits roll, then I count it at me beating the game.

Forgotten Land certainly deserves to be on the list of Nintendo's best Switch titles. This game is gorgeous and so fun.

 

I was going to see if I could get Captain Toad too done before I get Wonder tomorrow but I am only on stage 26 of 64, going to take a bit more time.

Maybe I can jam through New Pokemon Snap by tomorrow. I think I was pretty far into that before I put it down. Dont think its that long of game.

I didn't really like this game at first, but the more I got into it the more I found it's so so much better than the original.

 

Wonder is pretty cool so far. Some really funny stuff in the first few levels.

I need to go back to New Pokémon Snap. I devoured that game when it came out but never went back for the free DLC levels.

 

With Snap I beat the main game, but I want to try to get to at least level two on the 6 new stages that open up in the endgame before I put this down.

 

Picked up a copy of Mario Wonder while I was on my lunch break. Got a free shadow box for purchasing it at target.

 

gonna enjoy staring at my copy of Wonder with burning fomo as i await next weekend's co-op playthrough
