Dread still might be my favorite game on the switch.

Did you ever use a grip from Satisfye or some other company? I’ve been using them for years but I’m intrigued by the Nitrodeck and was wondering what some advantages to using one would be over something like the ZenGrip which just improves comfort

 

This fetch quest stuff you have to do to unlock the 5th sage before you get to the final battle with Ganondorf is kinda lame. It's comedown after finishing Regional Phenomena.

 

I came across the 5th sage quest well before you’re meant to by accident around hour 120ish out of the 195 hours I put into the game before the credits rolled

 

Yeah, being real, I wish they did an actual temple instead of what they did, or at least I wish they'd have found a way to make it feel less of a chore.

Like instead of making the parts and dragging them back, have some puzzle that just unlocked the part at the area. I just hate dragging shit around.

 

I feel like I did the Master Sword quest well before I was supposed to too. All throughout the main quest NPCs are like "oh wow I saw Zelda could that really be her?" and I am like "no she is a fucking dragon! I already know that!"

 

I had like a little $15 plastic grip I got from Amazon so this is a major upgrade. I know a big selling point of the Nitrodeck for people is the different model joy sticks that can not possibly get stick drift. I absolutely love how it feels in my hands and how it looks aesthetically, I got the gamecube colored one

 

Yeah Mario platformers and Mario RPGs should be their own separate categories.

 

That's just why I included both. It just made it easier.

To be fair, there's so many different Mario games. There's Tennis, Golf, Strikers, Baseball, Typing, Kart, Party, Mario vs DK, Paper Mario, Maker, Mario & Luigi, Mario and Rabbids, Dr. Mario, etc

And a lot of those games I like over most the "mainline" entries.

 

Mario Is Missing is the best Mario game.

I've gotta go back to dread. Might do so after finishing the origami king.

 

Yeah I need to eventually finish Dread too. I got pretty far, but got frustrated at a certain point and just stopped.

 

I haven't replayed Dread on my OLED yet, only played on the Lite so I'm looking forward to that when I get around to it

 

I think it was the twin robot chozo soldiers part where I was like "fuck this".

 

First time I played the final boss I played for two hours before I took a break for a day or two lol. But got it eventually

 

I know my limit . when kept having to start a boss fight over and over and get to the point where I want to throw my Switch against the wall, that is when I know I need to take a break.

 

Got to the final boss on dread mode (1HKO mode) but decided I didnt have anything else to prove so I stopped.
