Luigi’s Mansion is a console franchise. LM2’s only problem is that you had to experience on 3DS and it’s just not that kind of game.

I’m sure a lot will turn around once they play it on Switch.

 

Since we are porting 3DS games to switch in this last wave of the console, please gimme A Link Between Worlds HD before the Switch is over.

I prefer console Nintendo games to handheld Nintendo games. The only franchise I preferred the handheld games over the console games was Pokémon.

No. For this game specifically there was a notoriously amazing, truly spectacularly terrible English dub. A lot of people want to hear it again.

 

I'm trying to think of a Nintendo franchise I preferred console and the only two I can think of are Mario Kart and Smash.

Two of my friends who are big into BK were big fans of the dub and are pretty disappointed it's gone for this release too.

 

I know, but I can't say that because if I don't site my sources, I'm wrong.

 

However, there is a whole subset of absolute tools online who are protesting the game/pirating it because the new localization. These are the same people who get mad at any censorship like giving women clothes in games.

They always put it under the guise of "I just want the translation to be authentic" instead of what they really mean which is "I want the translation to be what I like and conform to my ideals".

I’d add Fire Emblem with Pokémon as a franchise with better handheld games though

 

Mario Party is a good console game, I definitely agree with that.

Same with WarioWare because the best versions are with motion controls.
