I merged my 3DS and Switch funds today and that came out to 1 cent.

Rainway In Talks With Nintendo Regarding PC Game Streaming On Switch

I wonder what will become of this. Even if, hypothetically speaking, the developers did deliver on the product I wonder what will happen if Ninty allows this on the Switch. there's some big pros (streaming Steam) and cons (will this discourage people from buying the Switch versions of the game, provided it's also released on PC?). Pretty interesting stuff.

 

I took my switch to work today and my co-workers were having fun with it. Me and a co-worker played some Mario Kart during our break and others were tripping out on the controls.

 

Keep playing as CP3 and Dominique Wilkins. This game was hard to get used to until I realized you reaaaally have to play to each players strengths. Stats definitely swing the games lol

 

I was just up 25-23 when the horn sounded for the end of the game, but they tossed it up for an 'oop and made it. It counted it 25-25 AND gave them the win...what the hell is that?!

Edit: never mind, it said they won on a tie, they celebrated, then on the next screen it said "Congrats! You won the tourney!" Game just has bugs still.

 

picked up Playgrounds last night. played a couple exhibition matches and and the first two rounds of the first tournament. I am getting my shit HANDED to me. I'm so bad at this game but I really like it and can definitely tell that I'm getting better every time I play it, for the life of me I cannot figure out the time. unlocking cards is super addicting, I was playing as Chris Bosh and Patrick Ewing.

 

I finally beat Malone/Stockton. I was screwing around and used a Wiggins/Jabari team and whooped their butt. This game looks so much better when playing docked, which sucks since I mostly play handheld, but whatevs. It's still a ton of fun.

 

Saaaame here. Like I said above, I got a little better once I just stuck to each player's strengths (CP3 steals like a mofo and can hit threes while someone like Aldrige can block/dunk).

That said, I feel like I have almost no grasp on the timing required to make baskets, dunk, block shots, etc. I can't even see a pattern for when I need to release the button so I just have to steal and alleyoop every chance I get.

 

I've got three point shooting timing down but dunks I have no idea. I end up "early" most of the time.

 

A tie? Every time I've ended in a tie they do an extra 30 seconds. Also, I've noticed that sometimes the clock seems off for power ups and if their time ends there is still like a second or two where they still give them extra points for a dunk.

 

That could have been it. Before he even made the dunk, the game said "End of Match" and then right as he made it, the score turned to 25-25..... And to make it even more confusing, my team started celebrating, but the stats screen said the OTHER team won lol

After I got back to the home screen it said I won, so all was righted. It was just a strange glitch.

 

holy shit you all weren't lying on how difficult this is to play.

I was struggling so hard. I need at least 10 more exhibition matches before I'll even get the hang of it.

 

soooooo should we try and get a tournament or at least an almost full room of MK going this weekend? find a convenient time for most people?

Playgrounds is so frustrating. Why can't I make dunks?! Yet I keep coming back to it.

 

No work, my girlfriend is out of town and my daughter is with her mom this weekend. will be getting high and mario karting a lot. I'm in.

Also, David Robinson should not be hitting off balance three pointers more than once per game.

 

the first night i had mario kart i took a few bong rips and i was in the zone for about 3 hrs.

i haven't had much time to game lately so I'm very much looking forward to a quiet weekend.
