I don't know if I mentioned this to the thread

but like on Sunday I went out on a date with a girl to the zoo.

I brought my switch along and she played it on the drive to the zoo and back to her house.

she geeked out so much on it because of how cool it was.

 

Karl Malone and John Stockton have been kicking my ass. Stockton is a pesky little booger.

 

I'm about to throw my controller. I've lost to griffin and Paul four times previously. I just started this last game up 16-6 and lost 25-29. Complete garbage.

 

Just lost 38-39 at the buzzer. This is absolute garbage.

 

Just started the Playground download so I can play tomorrow...looks like I'm in for some fun times ^

 

Haha I've loved it up until now. Just lost again 32-35. I'm Lebron and magic Johnson for god's sake. I don't know what else to do.

 

I'm clearly doing something wrong. Lebron is useless because anytime I try to drive cp3 just steals the ball from me. Every time. So I have to rely on threes by magic and it just isn't enough.

 

Do you use the crossover stick at all (the right joystick)? I use it a good bit and seems to prevent the other team from stealing from me. It uses a shit ton of stamina, though

 

And Blake griffin is stealing the ball from me and CP3 is dunking and blocking shots.

 

Yeah that's the problem. Seems useless when I can't dunk or have a high percentage shot after crossing over. I just don't get it. I can't beat these two.

 

Finally beat them by using the crossover strategically. Thanks for the tip.

The thing that irks me a lot is when the computer makes off balance threes repeatedly. I've yet to ever make one of those.

I've been using Kevin Durant and pretty much all I do is jack up threes successfully. I told myself I'd only play one game last night and ended up playing several. My strategy has been hit a 3 for the first shot then come back down and hit another 3 to build a small lead. Seems to be the only way I win.

 

passes are really hard to steal, so sometimes you can waste a lot of time just passing back and forth

 

I'm not on my 13th attempt to beat dirk and magic. Every shot magic hits is a "perfect bonus" so their team only makes 3 or 4 pointers. I want to play this game so bad but I'm getting close to putting it down already.

 

Perfect example. I finally somehow go up 11-0 and it's like the game is programmed to not allow it. They immediately hit a 4 pointer, steal it, hit a 4 pointer, steal it, hit a 4 pointer and I'm losing

 

rebounding and blocking seem impossible to me. i've only played two games though haha.

 

nothing happened so not the best wingman but still a good time killer.

 

Are you implying that a date isn't good if you don't get action lol?? I'd say a good date with a girl who geeked out over your Nintendo is "something happening"!

 

oh no. I was just meaning I didn't really see a connection there on potential dating.

 

Oh my bad. That sucks, but hey, you've got better judgment than me. I'm totally the type to meet someone who I'm attracted to, and then hear they like a band I like and be all "welp, time to marry you" lol.
