Haha. Yesterday I played with my SO, her dad, and her sister. That was how I found out that the entire family apparently are huge racing games freaks. It was the first time they played MK8 and still kept landing in the top 3. On 150cc.

 

Kamiko (5$ on the Switch eShop) is a good game. It's a polished, short, arcade-style game with combat that reminds me of a faster versin of 2D Zelda combat, with an occasional sprinkle of bullet hell. The graphics are simple and clean but also pretty.

I got first place on my first online race and I was feeling myself so hard.

Mii drivers over everything.

 

Wario, on bike, with standard tires, and parachute.

 

I use my mii to show no fear at all.

 

My friend uses his mii and has like a dozen outfits already.

how does mario kart work if you have two consoles in the same room? you can play together and each use your own screen, right?

 

Yes, you can do local with two consoles/players, each with their own screen (you can even do two players for each screen for four player multiplayer with two consoles, if you want).

 

I bounce between Shy Guy and Tanooki Mario for the most part. I can't settle on one character haha

 

I've been using Luigi or Squid Boy, mostly.

I generally use a different character each time, but using my Mii with the Pikmin suit is probably my fav. It's great.

Used the Kirby Mii costume and it's kinda freaky, just Kirby staring at me because his face is the back of the helmet

 

I have my switch behind my tv so it can't be seen and my joycons are in my pillow.

I love this even more for the fact how well I can hide it since my parents probably don't need to know rigit now how much I spent on a switch because adulthood.

my mii isn't updating in MK8 and I can't figure out why. any guesses?

 

every video game store I've gone to so far has at least one Switch in stock. And I'm hearing reports that it's sold out in a lot of countries. Haha.

 

Probably just lag, might still happen at some point
