Are we seriously at 100 pages? Jan 2017 starts at page 19, so for the past 4 months, we somehow managed to put in 80 pages worth of posts in this thread.

New system launches get people excited! Still kind of insane, this thread seems to move quicker than even the general video games thread at times (like now when there's not much new out except MK8).

Starting to doubt I'll get MK today with it still being on its way to the carrier after a day and a half. Thinking maybe I just buy it from Target and then return the amazon copy to target when it shows up.

 

I'm at Target to get some groceries and I decide to check the video games section.

I see they have one last switch and I'm hating myself currently.

 

I bought it and Mario Kart 8.

I already play the game on Wii U very often WITH the dlc but I feel left out and might just have to get it on the Switch too

 

@ComedownMachine not sure if it was the same in wii u but if you finish the cups in 150cc, the 50cc and 100cc versions of that cup will be marked as completed as well. Not really the biggest selling point but still a nice feature for returning users. I only have 3 cups left (the dlc ones).

2 items is a pretty good add-on imo, and the third tier speed boost (pink colored) is really cool as well. more incentive for being able to hold a drift for longer periods.

Might at least help you decide if buying it again would be worth it or not.

Went ahead and bought MK from Target. Amazon let me down.

 

I've never had a bad amazon experience, but if I want something the day it releases in not sure if use them.

 

What would be the best way we can all communicate verbally with each other? I'm on Discord 24/7 but the only way I think it could work is have one ear bud be for the game and the other ear bud be for Discord chat. Is that the only solution currently on Switch?
