Love seeing the Switch succeed after years of eye rolling while arm chair analysts on reddit see one console underperform and go "lol Zelda will be on PS5 just watch".

Nah. Nintendo has a metric ass-ton of money. They could buy their own island for their executives, seceed from all existing governing bodies, plant trees that play Gamecube games, and live as immortals... just with their cash on hand. Then they can sell Mario to Disney and colonize space and be like "fuck a PS5".

I back ordered a Switch from Amazon Warehouse Deals for $250. Anyone ever buy from them before? Are they reputable?

 

To people who bought MK8. Is there a way to party up with friends and then fill up the remaining slots with random players? I couldn't find anything.

 

Well amazon decided not to send it to me today for some reason.

 

If it's like 7/the original 8, sort of but not really. You can join a game with random players and then your friends can attempt to join that game but there wasn't a way to start with a party of friends and fill the rest, AFAIK.

 

That sucks. Don't they have policies when stuff like that happens? Compensation of some sort.

@tucah that's what I figured, I feel like it's pretty exploitable since a group of friends can gang up on other players. Bummer. But not surprised either.

Yeah definitely contact customer service. When I did after the Switch release day disaster they refunded me like 30% off the purchase

 

Not that I know of. But then it's rare for them to not get me an order on time. Maybe only the second to be delayed.

I didn't know everything in it would come unlocked. I was kinda of looking forward to doing stuff to unlock all the characters and what not.

 

Amazon fucked up, won't be arriving until Wednesday. customer service is about to get an earful.
