The last few weeks whenever I have been in stores that sells video game hardware, the Switch was sold out

 

I mean if Nintendo is going to put out banger after banger…

If you don't include Blooper and Shy Guy, you're not a real Nintendo fan.

 

Anyone think there’s a chance we get Twilight Princess and/or Wind Waker on switch? Or should I just give up any hope of that happening?

 

Hmmm. I mean, supposedly they've had those ports done forever. I think if we ever see them they'll be used as end of life cycle/drought boosters.

 

Probably not with TOTK releasing this year

 

It's unfortunate because then we would get a good Zelda game this year

Honestly last fall would have been the best time to drop WW and TP on Switch but Nintendo dropped the ball on that

 

I’ve started playing Violet today. I personally think the graphics are fine. They get the job done. The game is colourful and friendly. However, the performance is horrific and really inexcusable. It makes my eyes so tired. I will keep playing because I’m still having fun, but man.

Also, I wish you could still go into people’s house etc. A lot of the quirky character of Pokémon games came from that.

 

The story and world is charming, but chugging through performance issues made the game a slog for me. Definitely agree about not being able to go into houses. Such a minor thing but something I missed.

 

There's a lot I like about Violet, but there's so much of it that's just rough as heck

 

I agree about Violet. Good game with ideas that would have made it great with a better execution.

FE: Engage though? This thing runs like a dream.

 

I gave up on Violet, it just wasn't enjoyable for me

 

Engage is sooooooo good

 

I wasn’t into Scarlet for the first day or two but got absolutely hooked afterward and now would put it in my top 3 Pokémon games

 

Decided to upgrade and going from the Lite screen to the OLED is wow

 

As fun as Violet is, I really am looking forward to Johto and Unova remakes more than I am Gen 10.

 

Violet has a nice night skybox
