do Amazon pre-orders usually arrive on the release date? my MK8 has not shipped yet.

yea, they are really good. if it hasn't shipped yet, it's because an amazon truck is probably delivering it

 

Yep, I've never had a problem with Amazon's games preorders, almost always ship the day before and get it to me on time no problem.

 

I'm actually holding off on MK8. I loved it on Wii U and will certainly pick it up asap, but the next month and a half contains:
- Girlfriend's birthday
- Girlfriend's mom's birthday
- Mother's Day
- Nephew's 6th birthday
- Other nephew's 1st birthday
- My second anniversary

Basically, please shoot me in the financial face.

3DS family still alive!

 

Lol beat me to it. I just got the 3DS on Black Friday but now I want the BIG one, haha. I don't care about the 3D.

 

I never got a new 3DS, I could see myself picking up one of these if they're on sale during the holidays or something

 

I may trade in my 3DS to pick that up. Love the design and the big screen.

I'm definitely going to buy that. The bigger screen is too hard to resist. I have no self control.

If there's still a way to transfer data to an SD card as a middle man then I might sell my new 3DS sometime soon.

 

a 3DS XL is a must imo. The bigger screen adds so much and the console itself is much more comfortable to hold.

 

I love my 3DS XL. Great size and even though I very rarely use the 3D mode I still play it nearly every day.

 

New 2DS XL. might get that. Especially if it has longer battery life and better c-stick.

I was planning to buy a 2nd N3DS XL but I think I'll go with this one.

 

Legitimately thought that New 2DS XL was a meme, because holy lol is that the cherry on top of a bloated line of handhelds... but damn that thing is sexy. Do want, but will not get because I love the enhanced 3D tracking on my Hyrule New XL. No need to... quintuple dip? I got the original, 2 XLs, the new 3DS and the new XL. I think I've done my part. With the Switch, I barely play my XL as it is.

Interesting that there's only the black/blue at launch. Breaks a long running pattern of two flavors.

 

Haha yeah. If someone told me in person that a new 2ds line exists I'd roll my eyes and ask if we really need another one.

I have 3DS XL and N3DS XL so I don't mind getting another one. My N3DS XL c-stick and circle pad also have issues. I blame smash.

Also headed out to my local video game store to grab Kart. My SO and I couldn't wait for the digital. Then staying at a cafe. If anyone wants to play renegade by then we can just set up a hotspot or something.
